Check brushes. Must be at least 1/2 " long. Check all connections. To flash field: use 12 volt battery neg. - goes to machine ground. Pos + goes to the pos+ brush, the one that's not grounded. Give it a couple seconds on the 12 volts.

SOURCE: Generator not generating
you do not need a manual as long as u comunicate with me...
1- check your wireing...anything cutt off reconnect it..
2- check brushes...if broke or anything...replacem...
3- check AVR card...if blown out replace it....
4- if 1,2 and 3 didn't work contact me,...

You can get it through Grainger.com. I would try e-mail first as if you call they will ask you for an account number. All Dayton generators are Generac units rebranded for Grainger. Grainger no longer offers the standby home product line last I checked. I read on another post that Grainger e-mailed him back.
