Question about Tiny Computers B1996 19" CRT Monitor

1 Answer

Adobe installation when I try to load Adobe Reader, I get a message telling me that Adobe Reader 7.0.9.msi is missing. I cannot remove the download to try again, for the same reason. Can I get this file on its own anywhere? The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installation package 'Adobe Reader 7.0.9 msi in the box below.....after clicking ENTER The path c:\program files\adobe reader 7.0.9 msi can not be found.

Create a new folder on your c: drive and call it downloads (c:\downloads), then browse to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
and click download now.
Save the file in the downloads folder you just created.
Open AdbeRdr90_en_US.exe in the downloads folder you just created.

That will give you the latest version and you should no longer have that problem.

I run windows vista and have adobe reader 9. each time i try to update to adobe 9.3 it loads the download manager but then tells me that it is unable to install adobe reader 9.3. Why ?

It could be that you may of missed a step which when you are installing all programs except the install should be closed. Try that and you should be fine.

Will not allow me to install Reader 9.2 Error

try to completely UNINSTALL your adobe reader program. Then reinstall it. If the problem persists, uninstall the program again (Adobe reader) and delete the Adobe Reader folder in your Program Files folder. Then reinstall.

Need to delete Adobe Reader 7.0.9 so I can reinstall latest Versi

I was able to remove Adobe 7.0.9 by getting feed back from "question to google crowd"!
1. I had to download a program that removed the "setup" from the Adobe 7.0.9 on my computer.
2.I then downloaded Adobe 8.1 (with the understanding that since "7.0.9" now had no setup instructions" there would be no problem with the "8.1" download) -
3.Once "8.1" was downloaded I went to "ADD/REMOVE" and removed "7.0.9" - this time it worked just fine - no message that I had to find a folder with "7.0.9" .
4.After removing "7.0.9" I removed "8.1" with the ADD/REMOVE program;
5.All Adobe was removed from the computer..I then downloaded ADOBE 9 from Adobe's website.
6.I went to my portfolio to check it out and the pages came up without a hitch.
Goodluck to those who have had a similar problem.

Cannot use reader 8.0,cannot remove it or install 9.0

oddly enough, you may find that updating the version 8.0 you have to 8.x will then allow you to remove it (or it will work correctly) can you open the reader manually in the programs list? if so open it, then go to help and check for updates. apply the updates. If they work you should be in good shape.

I am having a problem with Adobe Reader 8.1.1. I am using Windows XP. Originally the program ran fine, but lately when I click on a link on a website that uses Adobe Reader I get a message that says...

do you the original installer of your adobe reader?

if you..when uninstalling adobe and the error occurs just browse for the .msi in your adobe installer and hit ok...

after it uninstall...download foxit reader and install it instead of the adobe reader....

hope this helps

Adobe installation

Hooray! Found the solution. Seems the problem is you must have the Adobe Reader 7.0.9 installer on your system to be able to install 8.1.1. You can d/l version 7.0.9 (which includes the installer) here:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/read...llversions.html
Install the whole thing, then you should be able to install your 8.1.1, which will remove the 7.0.9 version in the process, but will use its installer.
