You need to install the facebook app and then sign it in. Then go to photos and select the upload photos button (assuming you have a data plan. if you dont use the next option). You can also txt the pictures to facebook if you set up mobile facbook from facebook.com(done on a computer) Just set up this option and then you can text a picture to a number and it will automatically upload to your account. Most likely the issue is because you are sharing the photo rather than adding it to an album. The LG Thrill 4G has this capability built in.
The Facebook app for Android looks almost identical to the iPhone's. iPhone's Facebook app allows you to add photos to the album by scrolling to it on the left side bar and clicking "+"
