Printers themselves are not of any direct association to operating systems. Pure it may be easier to operate them with some OS's but any printer can work with almost any OS, given the right drivers. If you have a laptop then you can set up a wireless connection with your printer using a router, or connect it directly to the laptop when needed using a usb cable. If you can provide me with the model number of the printer and tell me whether or not you have a router, i can assist you further.
