Possibly you are using the audio from the subs or the Aux which are NOT controlled by the slide faders?

Sometimes users turn up the stage monitors to the point they can't control enough with the mains.

Make sure your system passes the audio to the amps from the XLR plugs for the mains on the back AND you use BALANCED lines to do so.

My CVP3 master volume does not work, stays at one level.

The volume control may need cleaning or replacement. Try a little contact spray cleaner first, moving the control a number of times after it's sprayed. Do not get the spray anywhere but the control.

Which is the master volume to boss me 25 ?

Hi, I can help you with your question. On the face of the effects, towards the right side, there are three settings that can be adjusted: DRIVE, TONE and VOLUME. The VOLUME knob is your master volume. The expression pedal can adjust volume, but it's output volume is controlled by the master VOLUME knob we just identified. I hope this has helped you, and if it has, could you please click on the "helpful" button ? Thank you!

When setting up xr8600 is it best to start mains and monitors master at 0DB?

1. Turn the main and monitor volumes all the way down (off). Plug a cd player into channel 9/10 and play a track of music of your liking. With the main/monitor volumes still off, adjust the gain on 9/10 until the clip light turns on, then back it down until the clip light just turns off. Put the channel volume at 12 o' clock.
2. With the music still playing, turn up the mains to the desired listening level first, and then adjust the graphic eq until the music sounds good in the room. Remember or mark the position of the volume control. Do not use the channel eq on 9/10 for music that has been mastered properly, leave the eq flat. Once this step is completed then you have now set the main eq.
3. Repeat the same for monitors. Turn off the main volume and then bring up the monitor main volume to the desired level first, then set eq. Now your monitor eq is set properly. Remember or mark the position of the monitor volume.
4. Set up microphone - plug a mic into channel 1 with volume all the way down. Speak or sing into the microphone and adjust the GAIN until you see the clip light, then back down a litttle on the gain. Put the monitor and main volumes back up to the mark from step 2. Now adjust the volume and monitor send on the mic channel to the desired loudness first before adjusting the mic channel eq. Use subtractive eq method to minimize distortion and feedback. ...i.e. if the mic is bassy then turn down the lows, do not ADD highs. If the mic needs bass, turn down the highs.

I am getting minimal to almost no sound coming from my mic to my computer.

If you are using the fx/send port to the mic-in port (I have no idea why you would want to do that) but nevertheless, check the red fx dial and make sure it is at 12 oclock and turn the pan dial to 12 oclock also. remember if you are using mic input 1 or 2 with a mic that requires Phantom power the button needs to be locked in the down position. OK im assuming you have checked and set your gain and volume levels on the 802 prior to plugging in your mic. If not do so now.(unplug all outputs and with mic plugged in speak into the mic while turning up gain until you get distortion which is indicated by a rewd light next to the "pan" button...once you see that light turn the gain dial back slightly and you should be set) have volume at 12 oclock on both l"evel1" and "main mix: dials. Now goto your windows desktop and right click on your volume control "speaker" icon. Click on "Playback device" you should see your mic in the list on enabled devices. If you dont see your mic in list right click the screen and click show disabled devices. Enable your device. If it is already enabled right click it and make sure it is not muted. finally go back to list of playback devices and right click your mic and click "configure speakers" run through the tests. close everything.mic should be working now. If it is not I suggest you plug your mic into either the line in from the fx/send or keep it in the mic-in port and plug the other end into the head phones port.Or better yet, get an rca to mini stereo jack and use the cd/tape out jacks to send your signal to the mic port of your computer......keep playing with it...you'll figure it out. There are so many different ways to hook up your perephrials its mind numbing sometimes.

How do I connect my laptop to my numark icdmix3

If you want to mixdown onto your laptop, get a cable with RCA left and right on one end and an 1/8 headphone jack on the other. On the back is a master out w/left + right and go to line in or mic input on laptop. If you don't have a line in, you have to disable the mic signal +4 db setting in control panel/audio properties volume control. Open properties there and add mic volume control, and open advanced to turn off +4db setting.

I just received my RSQ-echo 2000 karaoke machine. When I plug a mic into the front 2 mic inputs, they both have echo, even tho I turned off the echo volume in the back. I assumed that by turning it all...

The control supposedly controls the mix of the echo... this is a reverb type sound. Please note that room acoustics AND if the mic's "hear" the speaker in this, it may create an echo that is NOT under control of the adjustment. Make sure the mic's cannot "hear" the speaker or a reflection off a wall.

I plug it directly into my pc and it wont record on my music programs.Does this mean it is broken? Is there something im missing?.And it was purchased new but came with no directions,is that right?Also...

There is no volume adjustment. You would have to use the volume controls in the PC "control panel". Not all PC's will be compatible with this mic, as this mic is monaural, not stereo. You may have to use a 1/8 jack monaural to stereo jack/plug for the mic. Be sure and set the volume levels for both the mic and headset in the control panel AND UNMUTE the mic.

I have purchased a beheringer 1832fx usb mixer and I have connected my computer to my mixer that has a usb interface on the back in order to play my backing tracks, music, via my computer, and when I turn...

The main mix controls ALL outputs simultaneously.

The mic channels are controlled individually by the sliders.

It sounds like you are on the verge of feedback where the mics are picking up the PA speakers.

Make sure you have loaded the support SW and make sure you have disabled ECHO as the mics may be looping back through the computer causing the rattle.
