It's really hard to live if you have a crush on someone.
Try to talk to them. Be nice. Invite him/her to a cup of coffee sometime.

Try to be yourself and talk to them. Find things you both can relate with.

Don't be a coward, tell your crush about how you like him/her. If they like you too, everything will be ok, if they don't it'll still be ok. Worst they could do is say that they don't like you. They wont make fun of you.

Don't hold this in like I did. It's been haunting me to this day, ever since.

Why are my ice cubes dispensing faster than my crushed ice. I changed the auger assembly and crush ice is still slow coming out of dispenser.

Hello Theresa;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

I have gone on many a service call in regards to this issue. People like their crushed ice.

The auger was not the problem. It is the nature of the beast.

Regular ice cubes have more density (Heavy) and exit through the door dispenser with no problem.

With crushed ice, shaved chips they are lite. When you dispense crushed ice the ambient room temperature (warm air) creates condensate and bines the crushed ice together. Fragments of the crushed ice block the dispenser flapper from closing all the way. The flapper remains a little bit open and ices up.

The manufacturers recommend after you run crushed ice that you run cubes through your dispenser to clear the crushed ice fragments.

Well, that solution is from engineers sitting in a office.

The solution is, from a old experienced field technician is: Reach up and wipe the flapper with a dry cloth. Look up and make sure the flapper is completely closed.

My samsung rfg297aa dispenses crushed ice whether its set on crushed or cubed. why will it no longer dispense cubes?

This answer probably comes too late for you (you posted the question 9 months ago), but I want to record it here for posterity, since I had the same problem, and searching on Google for it brought up your question.
Anyway, I managed to fix this very problem by removing an ice cube that was wedged in the ice dispensing mechanism. The way this unit works is that it pushes the ice cubes through the mechanism, which always rotates the "crushing blades". When you select "cubed" ice, a lever opens up the exit chute wider, which causes the blades to simply push out the ice cubes as they pass through. When you select "crushed" ice, the lever closes the "exit" for the ice cubes to be narrower, so that the ice cubes can't be pushed through by the blades, and instead get crushed by them. I had an ice cube wedged in there that had the same effect of closing the exit to be narrower. Removing it fixed the problem.
You might want to collect all the ice cubes that have accumulated in the ice bucket in a container, empty the ice bucket, clean out the mechanism from any obstructions, and then put the ice cubes back into the ice bucket.

Fridge Freezer model KA58NP90 Ice maker problem

What is most likely your problem is the crushed ice solenoid. This solenoid, which is located next to the auger motor behind the ice bucket, is failing to actuate when you request cubed ice. Its "home" setting is crushed, and actuates to allow cubes past the crushing mechanism in the bucket. To be certain its the problem, remove the ice bucket, and tape the door light switch in the closed position. actuate the ice dispenser lever, for both cubed and crushed ice. you will see a square hole next to the rotating fork, when you select cubes, it should open. If it does open, there is something wrong with your ice bucket, perhaps the arm is broken, or the door inside bucket is off its snap in type hinge or broken altogether. If it doesnt open, replace the solenoid

Door ice dispensor will only dispense crushed ice

Pull out the ice drawer and close the door switch the crushed /cubed button put the ice drawer back in and switch the selector button again. You might have to repeat the process I had the problem this week and by jiggling everything around and running a good bit of ice thru it started working again. Good luck

Ge, tfx26kpda ww, ice maker only dispences crushed ice

At least yours is making ice. Mine wount even make ice. While toubleshooting my prob, I notice a metal rod on the bottom of the ice tray. This rod opens and shuts a plastic "trap door" in the tray. The position of that door determines whether the ice is crushed or whole. If the trap door is open the ice falls through the dispenser freely. If the door this closed the ice is force thorugh metal teeth where it is crushed then dispensed. Open the freezer door and take the ice tray out. You should see a hole at the back of the freezer that the metal rod goes through. In that hole there is a plastic square that moves up and down. If the set your dispenser to crushed ice, leave the door open, push in the door switch at the bottom, and press the dispenser. The plastic square does nothing while the motor is turning. That allows the door to stay closed and forces the ice through the metal teeth. If you set the dispenser to whole ice and do the same thing the plastic square is suppose to lift up forcing the door open and letting the whole ice drop freely. The plastic square probably does nothing even if you set it to whole ice. That mean the trap door never opens focing the ice to always get crushed.

Unfortunately, I have no solution because mine works and I had no need to investigate further. I hopes this helps you figure out the problem though

Good Luck.

Ice dispensor only dispensing crushed ice - not cubed

Make sure that your ice tray is properly instaled. There is a rod that must go into a hole. When you select ice cubes rather than crushed ice a solenoid raises which moves that rod. It then opens a flap so the cubes can bypass the crusher. Either your rod is not in the hole correctly or the solenoid has gone bad. The rod that I am speaking of runs along the underside of the ice tray. It has a spring on the rear end that holds the bypass flpa closed.
