Question about Bose Companion 3 Computer Speakers
Hello people, I have a problem and was hoping you could help me with it.
I have bose companion 3 speakers and not thinking i plugged them into 220 input instead of 110. They don't seem to work anymore. I am trying to open them up to see if there is something i can do.
But it seems impossible to open them up. The screws on the back dont do anything... and there is one big golden cover underneath which i cannot open.
Does anyone knows how I can open or fix them up?
Alot of speakers have some kind of glue or epoxy, so if the screws vibrate out the glue will hold it together. you may have to pry the panel off. hope this helps! good-luck, glen.

Yes. The companion 3 system can be repaired for $75. Call Bose at 800-367-4008. They will also give you a new 1 year warranty.
