Question about Grundig GU19WDVDPCX 19 in. LCD TV
The noise indicates that the DVD is not loaded fully so that the head unit is not coming up for scanning. You will need to remove the mechanism and check the drives, gear and belt , so as to see if there is any friction for slipping. If so reset and try.
make sure that the head loads up so as the optical head comes closer for the scan. Now clean the optical unit with a dry earbud and try with a DVD.
