SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am confused. Are you are trying to use a hitachi remote with a denon dvd player. What makes you think that this can possibly work? Buy the correct remote.

The remote has stopped working for my DP 300 DVD player. I changed the batteries, and I have operated another remote successfully with the new batteries, so it is not the batteries

Try to check the battery terminal the one that is connected into the pcb it might be loosed. sometimes the lead that holds the battery terminal is not properly connected. or try to check the led sensor the one that looks like a bulb, in order to check it you must have a cellphone with a camera then point the sensor into your camera lens then press any button you will see in your cellphone monitor that there is a red light glowing that indicates that the remote is in good condition.

When I put DVD disc in my Norcent DVD Home theatre system DP 5000 ast TV screen ,have a NOT DISC message. CD disk work great. Helpp me what to do,please! Thanks

If it plays CDs but not DVDs then the Laser is failing.

It takes less power to read a CD than it does a DVD.

Your only solution is to see about have the laser replaced, although these are often not available and when they are, it is not normally cost effective to do so.

We lost the remote and have a new one How do we program the new remote to the dvd player?

If the new remote is a Mintek factory remote, there is nothing to program. Just install batteries correctly and go.

Remote code needed

20839 is the DirecTV & Access HD universal remote code for Mintek, Shinsonic, & US Logic. None of which brands are listed in my Yamaha RAV283 remote code list (uses 4-digit codes).

20717 is also listed for Mintek by DirecTV. Other brands with the same code on DirecTV remote are: Apex, Blaupunkt, GE, Greenhill, Initial, KLH, Nesa, & RCA.

Of those brands, only Apex & RCA are listed in my Yamaha remote's list. I tried all of the codes for those 2 brands under types DVD, DVD Recorder, DVD/VCR, & TV/DVD. None worked. It appears to me that only those 3 brands for 20839 share the same remote code settings. If your remote doesn't support any of those 3, I doubt you will be able to use that particular remote with the Mintek DVD-1600.

I hope my research helps someone with this, as it was unfruitful for myself. Good Luck!

Try this solution with the tray opened press V+, V-, V+, V- and your zone code will appear in the right hand corner. with the up and down toggles select your zone code of choice etc. (1,2,3,4,5,6,......255). 255 is the multizone code.
