In simple terms no. Things to consider:- TURN OFF CAPS LOCK!

Spec of the memory in what?

Speed and size of what?

How long is a piece of string?

Does 1rx8 ram go along with 2rx8?

Look at your motherboard manual, it tells you what kind of memory, which slots to use for number of sticks.

Your statement makes no sense, 1r, what is this ?

There is speed and size of memory.

DDR-, DDR 2 or DDR3, then speed, DDR3 2000 which each speed has a corresponding number.

DDR3 2000 is called ( PC3 16000 )

The chipset of the motherboard dictates what size and speed of memory that it can use.

Untold probs with connection speed. The only thing that does any good is a factory reset. My isp (talktalk) have identified and sorted a line problem but I was still getting poor (.18mb) download speed...

Hi,
If the line issue doesn't fix the connectino problem, try considering the specification of your computer. The one that you should be looking for is the RAM value of your computer. if it using lower then 1gb, try updating the memory on the computer. you can also try to use other avaialable browsers like firefox, or google chrome.
Cheers!!

What type of SD card is most suitable for recording/playing digital TV programs?

The SD card needs to be a high speed SD card. The speed of the SD cards are classified by Class no. I suggest you use Class 6 SD cards or higher. The higher the speed the higher the cost.

Please let me know things in concern before buying a video card

Mostly goes of your motherboard or budget

Does your motherboard have a AGP or PCI-E slot?

Like you said, power connector if you decide to go for 1 of the top cards that require power, most just require the molex power connection but you might have up upgrade your power supply to use 1 of the newer cards

I have a P3 at 500MHz and was wondering with this Motherboard,

The motherboard has three, dual in-line memory module (DIMM) sockets. Minimum memory size is 16 MB; maximum memory size is 768 MB. The largest DIMM supported at this time is 256 MB using unbuffered 128 Mbit technology parts. The BIOS automatically detects memory type, size, and speed.

The motherboard supports the following memory features:
  • 168-pin DIMMs with gold-plated contacts
  • 66 or 100 MHz SDRAM
  • Non-ECC (64-bit) and ECC (72-bit) memory
  • 3.3 V memory only
  • Unbuffered Single- or double-sided DIMMs in the following sizes:

DIMM Size Non-ECC Configuration ECC Configuration 16 MB 2M x 64 2M x 72 32 MB 4M x 64 4M x 72 64 MB 8M x 64 8M x 72 128 MB 16M x 64 16M x 72 256MB 32M x 64 32M x 72

Synchronous DRAM (SDRAM) can be installed in one, two, or three sockets. EDO DIMMs are not supported. Memory size and speed can vary between sockets.

Note: Intel® Pentium® II processors with 100 MHz front-side bus should be paired only with 100 MHz SDRAM. Processors with 66 MHz front-side bus can be paired with either 66 MHz or 100 MHz SDRAM.

All memory components and DIMMs used with the Intel® SE440BX-2 motherboard should comply with the PC SDRAM specifications. These include: the PC SDRAM Specification (memory component specific), the PC Unbuffered DIMM Specification, and the PC Serial Presence Detect Specification.

Note: It is recommended that SPD memory DIMMs be used with the SE440BX-2 motherboard. However, the BIOS will allow the use of non-SPD DIMM memory.

So the max you can go is 3 x 256 MB.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate fixya.

Unable to upgrade RAM......

Sounds like they are 2 significantly different speed memory sticks. Normally, the faster of the two sticks will "clock down" to match the slower stick.

Without knowing the motherboard and memory stick specifications, it's hard to tell, but it's most likely a speed issue.

Problems with ga-6veml ram

Hi Luisfe, Your motherboard will only support a maximum of 1GB DRAM and only supports 168 pin, PC-100 or PC-133 SDRAM and VCM SDRAM at 3.3 volts. As long as your modules meet these requirements they should work. Specifically what size and specification modules are you inserting in your two memory sockets? Also when you power up with these modules installed you mentioned you hear beeping. These are *beep error codes*, if you tell us what combination of short and long beeps you hear that will probably help the diagnosis. Once I receive this information I?ll try to help you figure out what?s going on.
