Question about BenQ Computers & Internet
Had a sinilar problem with an acer 19" moniotr, turned out to be the DC power supply board. If you know someone with an electronics background get them to check it out for you. I was able to repair mine in an hour, keeping in mind, I had all of the proper tools and parts on hand to do the job properly. If you dont know what you are doing I wouldnt recommend attempting a repair, due to high voltage supplies inside.

It sounds like you have some dead pixels in you monitor. i suggest if its still under warranty return it immediately because if not your going to have to buy another monitor if you can live the with lines there. hope this helps.
