(NOTE: This procedure will erase all previous memory. So print out your lists etc before beginning.)

Press the MENU button. Enter #9000 from keypad. Then enter *550 from keypad. Then press the START button. Then press the MENU button again.

Now unplug the power cord for at least 10 seconds.

Replug in power and now a page will print out saying "Thank you for purchasing this Panasonic Fax Machine".
God luck!

My fax machine is showing failed pickup error, what shall i do

Paper Pick up Rollers get dirty or worn out with the passage of time. Hence, require cleaning or replacement if worn out. In case you find them dirty use a soft, dry, lint free cloth to clean the rollers. Dont use chemicals as they may damage the rubber and plastic. However, if needed, you can use damp cloth or some cleaning liquid such as mild detergent of glass cleaner to damp the cloth. As you have posted your question under Panasonic KX-FL511 is would highlight the steps for it. Im Using a similar model KX-FL612

Lift the top Cover, Locate the roller and clean them..
Hope it helps! Good Luck!
