I regret to report that my Remington Dual Foil F3790 is the poorest electric shaver I've ever owned...!!! It's only 2 weeks from brand new yet - even after 15-20 minutes of very hard work...!!! - I simply...

Try take it back to the dealer, they may have a record of the sale - and tell your wife to hide warranty papers in future, until the warranty has lapsed at least.

How do you take apart the Braun 4700 series shaver. I need to replace the battery, so i need to access the inards. Thanks

In the back of the shaver are two screws, one on each side of the plug pins. You need a tiny flat-head screwdriver. Take these screws out and the entire outer shell of the shaver pulls out from just behind the head.. Now your next challenge is trying to find replacement batteries with the little tip on each end.

My kirby diamond vacuum is not sucking. the small

Greetings from GoVacuum,

When the green light on the Kirbys stops working, this indicates that your belt has either broken, or fallen off the cleaner so the brush is not spinning. You're probably noticing that it's not picking up as well without that green light. If the belt is broken, and you need to a purchase a new belt, GoVacuum offers these belts for sale here; Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Belts 301291-3 (3 pack) fits all Generation series models G3, G4, G5, G6, G7, Ultimate G, and Diamond Edition in a 3 pack.

Once you have the new belt, please watch our very helpful video on how to replace it, and to make sure that the belt is on correctly, and the green light is on.

Kirby Ultimate Diamond Edition G Series, upright.
Problem: I lost my manual. How do I use my vacuum on hard wood floors? How do I use attachments, where do they attach?

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Kirby Ultimate Diamond Edition
You can cal the Kirby factory to request a new owner’s manual and they will describe how to use the vacuum on hardwood floors. There is a felt piece as wide as the brushroll area that will clip on to the bottom of the revolving brush area so that you hard wood floors don’t get scratched. The Kirby head will dial off and the Kirby head will come off and the attachment hose will connect to the front of the Kirby and that is how you use the attachments. Also contact your local Kirby vac dealer. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Kirby diamond edition - shampooer

1. Raise the vacuum head all of the way up. 2. Remove the vacuum head by removing the belt and releasing it. 3. Place the shampooer head on the vacuum by securing the clamp and them put the belt on 4. Take the bag off of the vacuum by twisting at the base just slightly outward and lifting upwards and unclamp it from the handle 5. Put water and cleaner into the water resevoir. 6. Put the reservoir on to the kirby where the bag was by holding it parallel to the vacuum then using both hands, twist it outward slowly until it goes down onto the unit then twist back to parallel position. 7. Put the coil looking piece on the shampooer head on top where the hole is...it will only fit one way successfully. 8. Put the other end on the under side of the water reservoir. 9. Lower the shampooer head all of the way down on the carpet just like you would the vacuum head 10. Turn on the vacuum and reach down and turn the knob at the top of the reservoir, this will begin putting cleaner (tons of foam) onto the carpet. Just work in 3' x 3' sections, turning off the foam intermitently until you are finished. I hope this helps.
