I suspect it is because of the circuit you are using. Please check your treadmill's manual and see how much power it needs. If you dont have the user manual with you, no prob just look at the nameplate on your treadmill. Most treadmills demand a dedicated circuit. Since it is not working at all Please change the circuit. I faced the similar problem few days back.

Keeps tripping breaker when put into start mode.

Hi, if you have burnt electrical smell and the breaker keeps tripping you have a short in the motor that's what causes the tripping in the breaker. You will have to get it repaired or claim if it's still under warranty.

My 5.2t Horizon Treadmill turns on, but as soon as I push the start button it blows the fuse to the outlet. I tried re-setting the breaker about 6 times and then I started smelling smoke. I opened the

First of all, never reset a breaker more the once. If it trips twice it's not going to magically, "heal " if you keep resetting it.
Two possibilities. Bad breaker or internal short in the machine.
Replace the breaker with one not tripping and then check out the machine for shorts.
Just switching out parts is a less specific and more costly solution.

My york treadmill keeps tripping all the electric in my house

1) Unplugged the treadmill, and test if the c. breaker from your house is tripped.
2) If continuos tripped the problem is your HOME, and NOT in the treadmill.
3) Connect the treadmill, if the treadmill NOW tripped the problem is Treadmil.
4) Test the power cord for cross wiring and repair, AVOID any extension cord for feed the treadmillL DO NOT USE.
5) See if the outlet box in your wall is o.k some wires touching between provoking short.
6) open the treadmill, and test the power button for short and replace, see if there are some wires touching the chassis of the treadmill and repair.

If the fuse or breaker are trips. you must inspect and test: 1) Power cord some internal wires is touching insider and produce short-circuit. 2)Capacitor in short 3) Coil or transformer in short 4) Main Motor in short 5) Main Controller Board.

Finally see for any wire is loose and touch the chassis from the machine in that case produce a BIG SHORT. sincerely.

Good luck, G-d bless you.

hi, firstly change the fuse in the plug to a higher voltage, then if you are using an extention wire make sure all the wire is unrolled. i had the same problem with my m5. i was using an extention wire on a roll that was shorting out the trip on the treadmill and cutting the electric off. so just by putting a higher amp in the plug and i am now using a 2m extention alot safer and much better,

Pushmatic breaker keeps tripping everytime I hit

You have it shorted out somewhere along the line. If it is a light switch you are switching, what have you done lately to make this trip? Anything? You might have a bad breaker. You can check it by shutting off the power, pull the wire out of the tripping breaker, put it in another breaker, turn the power back on, switch the breaker on, then hit the switch and see what happens. If it snaps off, it is not the breaker, but the switch, the wires in the box, or the lights, or something along the line, you will have to check each one. New construction has made all lights and all receptacles separate, so if your house is old, you might be looking at receptacles too. Check anything plugged in to an outlet, make sure there is nothing shorting. Hope this helps.
