Where to get the little clips?

Home Depot plumbing isle, size #36 O-ring will work better than original clip. Simply stretch out the o-ring with a pair of needle nose pliars and roll it over the earpiece onto the neck band. It doesn't look like it will fit but trust me, it will once you stretch it out. The inner diameter of the o-ring is 3/16" i believe and will shrink back to its original size shortly after you put it on the earpiece.

I am unable to fit the fork on the front wheel axle bar. It is too tight and won't fit. Do I need to force and open it a little bit?

If it is the original tire than you might have to spread the forks a little bit. If it is not the original front tire than the axle might be to long for that bike. In any case you are on the right track be careful when trying to spread the forks as to not spread to much and also don't get hurt in process. Good Luck...

Hi, I'm trying to fit the polar pattern converter to my C1000S mic. I've removed the wire mesh part to reveal the shock mount and capsule but there seems to be a black plastic bit of a different shape...

Alan, the C1000s comes with 2 filters, and it sounds like one of them is already on the capsule. Yes you can remove the one already on. I find by gently twisting and pulling it comes off easily. The capsule is rubber mounted so it can take a little bit of pressure.

I installed a cd player in my car about 2 months ago. It wasnt the greatest installation, as I had an extra wire not going to anything, and the cd player would occasionally short out, and i would have to...

Sounds like you wired the cd player to the tail light fuse and the power wire touched ground. Go to the fuse panel inside the car and check the fuses. The tail lamp one and possibly also the dash light fuses will be blown, replace them after disconnecting the cd player power wires and taping off where they were connected. If you have the factory harness for the original radio still in the dash you can get a wiring harness to directly plug into it from walmart. If you don't have the original harness , the easiest way to power the cd is to tap the cigarette lighter wire.

Vt Holden Commodore stereo wiring diagram

head down to your local auto store and you will be able to pick up a wiring harness adaptor. you wire your stereo to this adaptor then you simply plug it into the wiring loom. no damage to the loom so if you ever need to reinstall the standard stereo its just an unplug and plug back in. its extremely simple and colour coded so there are no mistakes.

I sucked up a dusing cloth with my ducted vacuum cleaner and now it does not **** at all. Help can not afford a three hundred dollar bill. blocked

Hi,
Turn off the power on the main vacuum unit. Then thread a plumber's snake or stiff small gauge wire from the outlet you were plugged into when the dust cloth got sucked up. With any luck, you'll be able to push it through a bit or with a small bend at the tip of the wire, you might catch hold of the rag and pull it out. You could also try sucking out the line with a shop vac by fitting it tightly into the outlet and turning on the vacuum.

hope it helps.
please rate this solution.
Thanks for using FixYa.

For the information of future searchers, I add an OEM type repair that has just worked for me.

Go to the dollar store and pick up any audio lead that has a single narrow pin in the centre. Cut the plastic where the cable enters the plug to expose the end of the pin and wire connection. unsolder the plug and at the same time using the heat from the soldering iron, withdraw the pin from the plastic that is holding it in place. Now you have an unsoldered pin all on its own.

Remove the back from the Apelco 365 and unsolder the wire on the broken pin, (mine was just a push fit). Touch the broken pin with the soldering iron and withdraw it. Insert the new pin, heating it a little with the soldering iron. From the outside of the back case, check the alignment of the pin, making small alterations using a bit of heat. Once satisfied, apply a little dab of crazy glue to fill any gaps around the pin.

Job done. In future use a little Vaseline Petrolem Jelly on the female plug and make sure the plug is square to the back when you insert it, and lined up with the notch at the top.
