My friend sold me a galaxy s GT-I9000 phone from uk and i cant use tmobile because it aks me for a pin and then i cant factory restore because he has the mobile tracker on with a password and there is no way to reach him since he went out of the country

You may try this get the imei at the back of the phone by removing battery cover and the battery then go to master unlocking code to enter the imei the master code will then be displayed for the phone

Data network not available

Can someone help me.. i was resetting my wife's i9000 Galaxy S as it was running slow. And since its booted up i doesn't pick up the network anymore.. and when trying to call out it says "data network not availible".... driving me insane!
It shows the Tmobile logo on startup, but it has always been used with o2 or Tesco (so i assumed its unlocked) I have done the factory reset and even previously updated it using kies. Now Kies wont update either! bit stuck at the mo..

GT-i9000 sim registration fail

Well, obviously you've lost your CWM and root. Re-flash the kernel with CWM using Odin. The second thing is that you have used wrong image to flash. I'd suggest to restore old one or re-flash use proper image (include root/CWM)

I have bought new samsung galaxy GT-I9000 from UK. I am using the phone for the first time in India.It aks me -" SIM NETWORK UNLOCK PIN". What should I do?

The Galaxy is locked to the Service provider you were using in the UK. so to unlock you need to obtain the unlocking code and teh best ,easy , safe adn cost effective means is to get the unlcoking code from UK. If this wont solve you will need to approach the Local Nokia store.

I own Samsung galaxy s2. I have activated the data network mode but still not getting internet connection. even i cant see the ikon of data network activation on the screen

I cannot remember my unlock pattern on my GT-I9000

You can try about the master reset system. Caution: All of your data will be lost that means your sms, notes, calender contact no.

please follow the instructions.

Samsung GT-i9000 Galaxy S hard reset

1. Turn off the i9000 phone or take out the battery and reinsert it.

2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and release the Power button
4. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
5. Press and release the Power button
6. Press Volume Up to confirm i9000 master reset
