Only way to get it going is to ie touch the beverage touch button and push the start button, cancel cooking and then enter clock time. will work for a while before going out again. thanks.
Determined from whirlpool that the f2 display is from the control circuit board. the board's problem is intermittent and needs eventually replacing. not covered by warranty. determined that whirlpool has reduced the warranty for the electronic circuits in its appliances from 5 to 1 year. this is great for consumer confidence in whirlpool. have had trouble with 2 other new whirlpool appliances. probably will not buy another whirlpool appliance.
Same experience. After only 2 1/2 years, first the Whirlpool microwave went out and about a month later the Whirlpool oven went out. First time in my whole life have i ever had to replace an appliance including washer and dryers. Never will i buy Whirlpool again.
Same here but you know what they say, what comes around goes around, however; I don't think anyone who works or runs whirlpool will purchase a whirlpool so I am not so sure about that Karma thing. It's not really funny, it is ridiculous, they had so many problems with the one thing that almost everyone will have a problem with (MOISTURE getting around the key pad) it's about impossible that it won't get moisture and living in Florida just adds a little more fun to the equation. I will never buy a whirlpool again in my entire life. I hope others note what is going on and understand that losing money is not something any of us can afford at this time in life. This also happens to GE products and probably any product that uses these electronic key pads. They are not made to be used around water and moisture yet they put these on the things that are most like to get wet. Does anyone feel a bit used? Yes, they stopped the 5 year warranty, they had to fix too many of these pads and at about $225 each it could get expensive THAT Is putting it on yourself by the way. We have replaced our Over with GE so many times we paid more for the keypads than for the oven and they now do not make that size oven so we are not able to find an over that fits our wall that cannot be widened. It's sad to the point of being funny as there is nothing else you can do about it.
