unplug your web cam then restart your computer after then when computer loaded all programs and stable plug your web cam when pc recognizing it and ask for driver then put cd and follow the wizard instruction guide.

Try connect the webcam to your computer, it wll detect the device, note down the device name it display towards the right bottom of your screen. Then with this device name, brows google and enter device name + 'driver' in the search field and click the search button. U will be provided with numerous sites where from u can down load the driver for ur device. good luck

It couldd be the computer no recognising the camera.
If you have software from CD loaded- Remove it.
Then with the camera plugged in and switched and set to upload- REboot the computer
