Have you double checked the cable from your pc to the monitor is connected properly? You could try borrowing a cable from someone, if it works with the new cable then you know the cable is the problem.
Otherwise, it would seem that your computer graphics card has malfunctioned or broken down. You may have to go out and buy a new one or get someone to fit a new one for you.
