Question about Toshiba Televison & Video
It's possible the picture size of the input source (cable/satellite receiver, etc) has been changed. The picture size should be set to NATIVE using the PIC SIZE button on the remote if you want a full-screen picture on the TV regardless of the picture size from the input source.
You seem to have already tried this so I think you may be looking for the problem in the wrong place. It would assist me in solving your problem if you could let me know whether you are using a Cable/Satellite receiver or any other type of set-top box / digital converter and, if so, the brand and model number of the box and how it is connected to the TV.
