Can't find instructions on how to put the rear derailleur system back on after changing tire.

Firstly, why take off the gear mech to change tyre ? All you do is free the rear wheel, then slide it forward and unhook the chain.
Anyway, we'll need to know the make of the gear mech before we can advise on its replacement - a photo would be good, too.

How to adjust the handlebars on a bike

To adjust the handlebar position on your Raleigh, loosen the nut on the bottom of the stem extension. Use a 13mm or 14mm wrench, whichever fits. Do not use pliers or Vicegrips! It is upside down, so be careful to turn it counter-clockwise while looking at it from the bottom. To change the handlebar height, you need to loosen the bolt on top of the vertical part of the stem. You may need to tap it with a small hammer to break it loose after it is loosened about 1/4 inch. Now you can adjust the handlebar height, being careful not to exceed the maximum height engraved on the stem. You should also carefully align the bars with the front wheel before tightening the bolt. If you do not understand the terms used here, you should take the bike to a bicycle repair shop.

Is there a video that will show me how to put the breaks on this bike

Might be ... are there no breaks on the bike now? What kind of brakes are you talking about? Coaster (move the petals in reverse to activate) or hand. There should be a bracket on the front and rear forks to mount hand brakes. From your picture, the bike already has at least a front hand brake. The brake simply attaches to the bracket with a nut and bolt.

If you will go to a Bike shop in your community, I am certain they can give you assistance in operating the bike as it is now or adding additional brakes as you may deem appropriate.

Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

How do i attach hand break on huffy 16 inch princess bike

Huffy's general manual addresses only how to adjust brakes that have already been assembled (under the heading on page 20 it states "Adjustments". I noticed this problem and it took me a while to realize the single sheet of paper that came with the bike (not part of original manual), that acts as an addendum. It's called "Brake Cable to Brake Lever Assembly Instructions." Why this section hasn't been incorporated into the manual is beyond me.

Terrible instructions for installing caliper brakes

The cable has a stop on it that threads thru the lever housing. It also usually has an external threaded nut for adjustment. You need to start the adjustment process by screwing the "nut" all the way against the housing. Then you move to the "caliper" itself. The cable is held in place by a compression nut. Pinch the caliper with your hand until it is almost touching the rim and then tighten the pinch bolt. You can then fine tune the adjustment by using the nut next to the lever housing. As you screw that nut out the brake pads will move in towards the rim and vice versa...hope this helps!

Barbie bike petal broke

You'll have to replace the pedal-it's not really wise or safe to reuse or fix the old one if they break.-they may hurt your little one's feet.
On a side note, pedals are usually only sold in pairs, so you would have to replace both of them-if you want them to match.
Also, take note: the left pedal is a left hand thread, the right pedal is a regular(right-hand) thread. This is so they don't unscrew while the bike is being pedaled. On a standard bike you need a 9/16" wrench to screw/unscrew the pedals. Put the wrench where the pedal goes to the crank, and unscrew it there. The left hand thread means it will be the opposite of the "righty-tighty,lefty-loosey" rule for unscrewing normal right hand thread screws.

Might want to hit it with some penetrating oil and let it soak for a bit, before you try breaking it loose, it might be stiff!

Hope this helps!
