Dear,just format the card with computer through a card reader and insert the cardinto fone then format the card by ur fone and then check, if problem presists then ur fone's card jacket is not working so then you will need to go to a certified mobile fone repairer to get changed your fone's jacket. its not very expensive..thanks
Did you try the memory card on another PSP? Or try another memory card in your PSP? If your memory card works in another PSP, then there's a problem with your memory card reader.
If you have a PSP-1001 model, it's not your motherboard but the circuit board that holds the memory cards.
If you have a PSP-2001 or PSP-3001, the memory card reader is a part of the motherboard and they are correct -- bad motherboard.
open the back of the fone, take out the battery, with the sim card facing you on the upper left of the fone, the memory card is spring loaded, in a slot to the right of the sim
hi..there may be a problem with your mobile phone micro-sd slot
or their might be a problem with ur micro-sd card. u can also do
one thing just take the micro-sd card and clean the pins of micro-sd
card with spirit,aftershave lotion, isopropyl or body spray. just take
the above mention chemical in a soft cotton cloth and then try to
clean the pin of sd card by rubbing the cloth on it.

ALTERNATIVE TWO: this is useful for those who got INSERT SIM CARD RESPONSE.
WHY INSERT SIM CARD PROBLEM ? my phone is 1yr and 6 months now and i discovered that as you remove and replace your Sim card numerous times, there is a big possibility that Sim card port will get expanded.
SOLUTION is very simple:.>>:1. buy a black solo tape 2. place it at the outer part of the sim card and use blade to cut exactly the same shape as the sim card. 3. finally stick the tape.
WARNING>>?do not stick the tape on where you have the Sim card service sensors.make use of your brain.
Chances are that the contacts in the card slot are either dirty or worn out. First thing I would try would be to try blow out the card slot. I suggest caned air, You could use a straw and Puffs of breath, but keep it dry. If that doesn’t work put a lint free cloth over a piece of cardboard about the same size as a memory stick. Be vary careful that it is not thicker then the memory stick. Dampen the end with Alcohol (Denatured Alcohol is best but standard rubbing alcohol might work in a pinch). I repeat, dampen with alcohol not dripping wet. Remove the battery just to be sure. Insert the swab into the card slot a half of a dozen times when you pull it out look to see if you see any residue on the swab. Hopefully you see dark stripes on the cloth. Let the camera sit with an empty slot (and no battery) for a hour before you try it again. If all that fails the last chance (short of replacing the card reader) try to put some electrical tape on the memory stick on the side opposite from the gold contacts, be carful not to cover the contacts. Try one piece of type at a time and DON’T force the memory stick into the slot This will slightly increase the pressure on the contacts inside the card reader slot. If you have to resort to this be carful that the tape sticks completely and that it is neatly trimmed, you don’t want the type coming off inside the cameras. If this works you will need to add tape to all memory sticks used in this camera. I would NOT use any “taped” sticks in any other readers without removing the tape first.
your unit experienced shock. due to fragility of the phone, your LCD might be broken, if not, the LCD connector needs to be refitted to its slot. If the problem is still the same, you need to replace ur LCD.
