Question about Sony MDR-V700DJ Professional Headphones

Bought from amazon as chrstmas present. dodgy from the start . now only ONE EAR speaker WORKING. Need replacement . don't know who to send faulty set to, Thanks Lindsey Baron

Sony has great customer support for their products, to match the headphones should be under warranty if they were bought around Christmas.
Simple visit:
Once there enter the product information (the model number is going to be "MDR-V700DJ"), date of purchase, and your zip code. From there you can request a replacement or a repair for your headphones.
While I do not know if you registered your product or not, it may help in the future in regards to product warranty as it allows the manufacturer to more easily look up your information. Sony's product registration page can be found here:

Better ear speaker replacement

When you say "ear speaker" fdo you mean an eabud headphone?
Just check plug size; there are 3 1/2" and 2 1*2" plaug. Do a google search and buy a good quality.
Actually, Motorola headphones are quite good, so might be some particular issue with yours.
I've used Sony headphones too, but be careful with FAKE Sony products.

Ear speaker not working ,only loud speaker works.

You see, it seems that some early batches of this phone are more prone to present this issue. It's a hardware problem. Some posts around the internet state that it might be caused by usage of the wired headset, but it could be nothing more than pure speculation. Anyway, Motorola is aware of this problem, and they seem to be either fixing faulty phones or replacing them by new ones. So, you must send yours to be repaired, under warranty. Please, contact either the store or seller you bought your phone from, or Motorola, directly, for further details

Well, a possible workaround for this issue is to use the wired (original) or a bluetooth headset for phone calls.

Really hope you are able to have your phone fully funcioning pretty soon. This phone is pretty amazing!

My touch ipod touch is fully charged, worked yesterday fine. Today the sound won't come thru my ear phones, can you help?

it seems like the headphones do not work anymore. Do you have any other headphones that you can use. You could also call the company that you got the headphones from and see if they can repair them or replace them for you. If you bought it from ebay or amazon just find the person you bought it from and ask them if you can send it back for a new pair.

Speakers are ok but headphone is not working

OK. Speaker works/headphones don't! Sultanrajia, what is refering to! Audio Amp, play-back record, computer, radio, TV, all communication equipment. what. It could be broken wire on the headphone jack plug or it could the headphone aren't working. Maybe some bad wire in the headphone cable, faulty plugs.

By the way, do have a Night Visison optic devise that it can take a look into the night. Also, how does the spearkers and headphone work with the Night Vision Optics? stewbison

My ear piece doesn't work, but when i turn it on speaker mode, the speaker works


there is a solution to the problem.The ear piece is faulty and it needs a replacement.

Get a new earpiece, and a screw driver to open the phone, remove the faulty earpiece and replace it with the new earpiece.

But if you do not know how to loose the phone or fix it, take it to an mobile phone engineer to help you fix it so that there will be no further damage on the phone.

When i dial with my c905 sony ericsson, it doesn't ring out except i put on the speaker

It sounds as if the ear speaker is dodgy. you be best send it into a repair centre and get it repaired free of charge( under warranty). Just contact the place of purchase to get details.
