I cannot seems to keep my earpeice connected. I push the call connector button on the side of the earpeice and it lifts up the handset, but then it disconnects the call and sets the handset back down. I've tried resetting the system and that doesn't seem to work. Anyone got ideas?

Re: Won't Stay Connected to Calls
It's probably a problem with the lifter. Try a re-subscription on the system (refer to user manual). Also make sure that the lifter is lifting the handset far enough off the base so that there isn't much weight pushing it back down. There are 3 settings on the lifter (Look at the knob on the back of the lifter). Low, medium and high. Try setting it to medium.

put your nail between the white and the black part of the cover (near the upside of the volume button) and open it. dont loose the little silver button and keep in mind how it was placed. That makes it easier when you want to reassemble your headphone again. when you have opened it you will see a lot of little wires connected to a white plug. take the plug out of the connector by using a small screwdriver or something else to push the plug out of the connector. or simply pull by the wires, but take care not to brake them
S12 system - Some phones have jacks for headsets but the S12 is designed
to connect through the HANDSET jack of the phone. Make sure all the
cables are connected properly on the amplifier and telephone. and that
it's configured (compatibility slide switch located on side of
amplifier) to your phone. Once connected properly remember that you will
need to lift the handset in order open a line on your telephone.
If the CS70 headset has a charge and beeps when you press the call
control button, you may just need to re-pair or re-subscribe the headset
to the base unit. Here is a link for the pairing / subscription
If the headset is not charging, the internal battery may be worn out and
the headset may need to be replaced (the battery is hard wired and is
not replaceable). The replacement headset is model 72910-01. Below is a link where you can purchase the replacement headset.
Question are connecting head phones or an actual headset with a mic on it?
The reason I ask this is alot of devices can tell what connection are being connected to it. So if you are not connecting a headset with a properly detected mic on it this maybe the cause of your problem. If you are not sure get me the make and model of your phone and headset so I can look up some info on them.
Two things to remember. If you're connected through the handset jack,
the handset (receiver) needs to be lifted off the phone to get a dial
tone. Secondly, if you're connected through the headset jack, you may
need to adjust the configuration dial (round dial on left-hand side of
base) to make it work when the headset button on phone is pushed.
hello switch the bluetooth on your phone go hands free if it has it click on hands free the press the button on the earpeice the phone should start searching for devices when it's found it it might say passcode enter
four 0000 thats it your connected good luck
You can have the two devices connected, but still get your sound through the phone. During a call (maybe call your voicemail or an automated number, just to make a call) try holding down the answer/end button on the earpiece until it beeps, and see if the sound switches from the phone to the earpiece. You can also try pressing the speakerphone button on your phone during a call to switch the call to the earpiece.
Make sure that the power is connected to the headset. You can tell it's connected because there will be a red solid light on the left side of the front of the charging base. Check the power cord for any frays and make sure it's plugged into the wall. If it is, then try the following:
A system reset:
1. Lift the headset off of the base.
2. Make sure the headset is turned off. The green light will not be on on the base.
3. Hold down the minus button at the same time as the call answer button on the headset. Hold them down for at least 10 seconds. An orange light on the headset will flash several times. It should go off when you let go of the buttons. If the orange light stays solid, push the minus button once.
4. Put the headset back in the charging cradle. Leave it for 30 seconds. Lift it back out of the cradle and try using it again.
Usually to solve some pairing problems shut off bluetooth completely(no lights) Push and hold button until bluetooth comes on,flashes then steady light, you may have to hold button for ten seconds or more. Then put phone in pairing mode. When asked for pass code enter 0000.Phone should show connected to bluetooth device.
