Won't Stay Connected to Calls

I cannot seems to keep my earpeice connected. I push the call connector button on the side of the earpeice and it lifts up the handset, but then it disconnects the call and sets the handset back down. I've tried resetting the system and that doesn't seem to work. Anyone got ideas?

It's probably a problem with the lifter.  Try a re-subscription on the system (refer to user manual).  Also make sure that the lifter is lifting the handset far enough off the base so that there isn't much weight pushing it back down.  There are 3 settings on the lifter (Look at the knob on the back of the lifter).  Low, medium and high.  Try setting it to medium.

On the gwl11 fisher paykel washer the first and 7th lights are lit and washer won't function

according to the service summary that comes with the washing machine, you have error code #130, a faulty rotor position sensor. first check would be to unplug the machine, remove the screws holding the push button panel, and pop it off. check your wiring harnesses (connectors going to the brown control module). the wires going to the rotor position sensor will contain black, violet, blue, grey, and orange. they connect to the motor control module at the second from the left hook-up. trace those wires to the rotor position sensor. if the wiring is connected, google the part number and purchase a new one. you will have to open the top of the washing machine to get to the sensor. lift your lid, remove two white rubber caps and remove the screws. when you lift it up, ensure that you have replaced the push button console, and glance under to rear right side. you should see the colored wires there attached to your sensor.

buy a replacement power window regulator on eBay or at a local car parts store. take it and your car to a glass shop which does cars. stay away from the dealer. cost about a hundred for the regulator and about 60 for the labor. do not just buy the lift motor, get the whole regulator. do not try swapping the regulator yourself. stay away from car dealer service department.

Device could not start

what device? is *********** board won't start? Or a hardware doesn't start like ram or your printer
If the problem is your motherboard check all your hardwares and connectors like this:
  1. If the motherboard won't start if you click the power button check the LED(the small light bulb on your motherboard) if its glowing. If not, check the connector of your power supply or check the power supply if its working by looking its fan if revolving.
  2. If you push the button and there's a sign of power but didn't start up that will appear on your screen check the connection of your monitor screen to your desktop computer. If it's connected, remove your RAM from the motherboard and insert it to another memory slot to check if it's broken.
  3. Last, if you push the power button and here 1 short beep but the boot screen didn't appeared from your screen check your graphic card. Remove the graphic card and re-insert it again to its graphic card slot and plug in your monitor connector to it. If it still remain that way, buy a new graphic card.

In trying to free my gabirator of goop the whole garbiraror came away from the top under the sink attachment. what to do please

If I understand correctly, your garbage disposal came loose from the sink basket.

geno_3245_49.jpg

The darker blue arrows point to the connector disc.
The connector disc rotates freely when garbage disposal is not connected to sink basket.
The trick is to lift the disposal into place with one hand.
Push up hard while keeping disposal lined up with sink basket.
Then use other hand to rotate connector until it catches on sink basket.

Before starting:
Disconnect the tubular drain pipes because these pipes will have to be re-sealed.
The electric wire and dishwasher hose can stay connected

If you are disabled or impaired, use a car jack or bottle jack to lift the disposal ... but go slow and don't lift the whole sink.

Now to reconnect the tubular drain pipes.
Disassemble these pipes.
Clean the pipes and washers.
If washers are rubber, buy new ones.
If washers are plastic, re-use old ones after they are cleaned.
I use rectoseal on all tubular washers when installing pipes under the sink.
Coat the washers with plenty of rectoseal and the tubular drain pipes will seal first-time with no leaks.

The darker blue arrows point to the connector disc.
The connector disc rotates freely when garbage disposal is not connected to sink basket.
The trick is to lift the disposal into place with one hand.
Push up hard while keeping disposal
perfectly flat and aligned with sink basket.

All drain pipes that were moved during the garbage disposal event should be taken apart.
Disassemble these pipes.
Clean the pipes and washers.
If washers are rubber, buy new ones.
If washers are plastic, re-use old ones after they are cleaned.
I use rectoseal on all tubular washers when installing pipes under the sink.

I can only get crushed Ice when the Cube Button is pushed. it seem the Cube Buton has failed. What can I do to solve this problem

Pretty easy fix if you are somewhat handy with a screw driver. Remove the tray holding ice, on the side of that tray should be a metal rod that activates the crushed/cubed function. There is a motor on that activates a lever that will push the end of the rod down or pull it up depending on what you have selected.

Motor could have been frozen, since it is in the freezer, but you need to remove the mounting bracket and spiral rod assembly. To remove this there are two small bolts on the bottom of that bracket, remove those and lift up on the entire bracket assembly. This will remove from the mounting bracket at rear of freezer. Now for the hard part, you need to unplug the wire connection that runs into the back of the freezer. There are two plastic clips on each side of that connector. You need to push the top of those clips on both sides and pull the connector apart. All at the same time. The wire also is connected to the ice maker itself, so you also need to disconnect that connector, much easier to disconnect that, squeeze the clips on each side and pull apart.

Now you should be able to remove the entire ice tray and spiral gear assembly. Be careful as the light bulb is on the bottom back side and it is probably pretty hot as it has been on now for several minutes while you were trying to get all of this done. Now you need to take the back plastic cover off, by removing the two silver screws from the bottom rail. By removing the plastic cover you can gain access to the spiral gear motor and most importantly the cubed/crushed actuator motor. If it is anything like mine, it will be covered in ice crystals, let that melt or use a hair dryer to speed it up.

Once that is unfrozen, you should be able to move the metal rod (shaft) back and forth. There is a spring on the opposite end of the shaft from the motor and that will push or pull up the lever that in turn moves the rod to allow for cubes instead of crushed ice.

Once you have that shaft moving freely, reassemble the unit by replacing the rear cover with the two metal screws and place the assembly back in the freezer. Plug the harness back into the connector, it only fits on the female end one way, but you can look at the orientation of the round holes and square holes and get it lined up correctly. It goes together much easier than it came apart. The light bulb will turn back on once you have it connected correctly, don't forget to also connect pigtail connector to the ice maker itself. Now if you hold the door open/closed switch in and push the ice dispenser lever on front of door, you should see the motor push down the actuator that in turn will push down the end of the brass rod which then opens the latch at the dispenser end to allow cubed ice with out going through the crusher.
Make sure you have the cubed button on front activated before you test this. You will not see any difference by just pushing the cubed or crushed buttons on the front of freezer. You will only see a difference in that actuator once the ice dispenser lever is pushed. As long as that is working, make sure to replace the two metal bolts on the bottom of the mounting bracket. Replace the ice tray and enjoy your cubed ice. Hope this helps

Button on side is not for answering calls.
PTT or Push To Talk allows you to use your mobile like a walkie talkie. It is dependant on your network operator running the service.

Quote from Pocket lint:
To use the function you must first create a group or individual in your phone menu and send an SMS invitation to those you wish to join. Once your contacts are set up, your phone shows which members have their handsets switched on with push-to-talk enabled, in the same way that instant messaging works online. By pushing a single button on the handset, you are connected with one person or with your group. There is no need to dial numbers, nor do the recipients need to answer calls. You simply push a button and talk. As with a walkie-talkie, anyone in the group hears you almost instantaneously. The talking is one way with only one person able to speak at a time. Unlike walkie-talkies, which are infuriatingly dependent on distance, push-to-talk has no such limitations.

You should be able to disable PTT in the Nokia menu, which is best if your network doesn't support it. Plus you won't keep cutting off calls.
