Hi Rajeeva.

To start try downloading updated codecs for Windows Media player, and install them onto the new laptop.

Use this link to download updated codes:Free-Codecs.com :: Download latest audio codecs

If that is not enough also update Windows Media Player on the new laptop. Link is below.

Windows Media Player 11.

Updating codecs should fix the problem already.

Ya, the transfer wizard in Windows only gets the pics. For the vids you have to go into MyComputer, and your cam will show as removable media. From this folder, you can copy the vids: they will show no File Type, but the pics do.

If this doesn't work for you, try the Fuji update for Windows and try again:

I can't read my video from my computer.

If they don't open in windows media player, try downloading VLC media player, it'll play basically anything: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Fuji Finepix A820 camera. Videos and Photos are not all viewable on PC

Sounds like the card is corrupted

First save all your pictures to your computer.

The first step you should try is to try reformatting the card using the menu options on your camera. YOu should still be able to access those options

Perhaps you can take out the xd card and use an external card reader to transfer the photos.

Cannot transfer video clips from FujiPix A 340 camera

Hi chal There is an " add a comment " link at the bottom of the page. please use it next time, because it's better to see the whole history together and not just the latest part. chal wrote " Any one please help. When I try to transfer video clips taken by my A340 fujipix camera to my pc i get the message no pictures can be found. I have no difficulty to transfer photos but not videos. I have Windows XP with service packs 1 and 2 installed. Thanks for any suggestions. Try to open it through explorer. Do you see your camera as an external drive under "my computer" when connected? good. Now right click on it and choose "explore", and send us a comment if you see the files there or not. Then all you have to do is copy paste. Good luck!
