You need to contact emachines call 877-721-7314 and they will give you a rma # and will either send you a box with a fedex label already on it. if its out of warranty you will have to pay to ship it yourself they will give you the address to ship to and you can take it to a ups or fedex store and get the label there. i can try and diagnose the problem for you. hope this helps let me know.

How do I return a package

At any UPS or FEDEX store. Or just request the US Postal service to come pick it up at our door by going online. Or, most of the time you can call the place you purchased it from and they will send you an email with a return label and directions on it.

I,ve an emachine d620 laptop its working fine except its broken off its hinges can it be fixed

Yes it can, hinges are repairable. Get a quote from your local repair shop, then try these guys: http://www.generalsystemsconsulting.com

They'll beat any quote even with the shipping charges. And they ship it back by Fedex or UPS

How do i fix ntldr is compressed on emachine press ctrl alt del to restart I stuck in this loop when I try to boot my emachine

Your Windows installation has become currupted. You may have success if you perform a Windows Repair. Alternatively you will have to format and reinstall Windows.
Obviously it would be best to perform the Windows repair, you will need to Windows installation CD.

Follow these steps to Repair Windows:
You will set your CD drive as the primary/first boot device in the BIOS.
Then insert your Microsoft Windows CD into the CD drive.
Press any key when prompted to book from CD.
The CD should execute and start up.
Now when the Blue screen appears press Enter to install Windows.
Press F8 to accept the Terms.

Now here is the Important Part:
At this blue screen you will need to press the R key to repair the selected Windows Installation.

It will look as though Windows is installing for the first time, but it is keeping all of your information.

You may want to contact a computer technician to back-up your data that you may need in case the repair is unsuccessful.

Please be sure to rate this session.

Take care!

Please fix it

You will need to send it in to Nintendo for repair. It should not cost anything if it is still under warranty. Click on the link below to request a free Fedex shipping label to get started

Keep getting a blue screen and no signal

Be sure all the cables/cords are in proper orientation and good physical fit. Be sure the device(s) feeding the tv signal are actually producing a working signal for the tv. For example, if there's a 'no-signal' condition from your cable box, see if you get the same from your DVD player, or game device....etc.

Also check your A/V settings through the tv's menu options be sure their on the proper input label. If still you have no-signal then your interface (signal board) needs to be serviced. If its under warranty take it back, if not then have a repair shop fix it for you...

When I type on my HP Satellite and press the G or T keys, it returns G] and T-.

Sounds like your number lock is on. Hold down the "Fn" key and press the "Num Lock" key labeled in blue letters.

If that's not the case, your keyboard might be bad and needs to be replaced. You can get a new keyboard on eBay or, if your computer is still under warranty, you can send it back to HP and they will fix it for you.

IF YOU SEND your computer to HP, back up all your data! They will probably send you a different computer!

Before you remove the board and send it to me, be sure
to run your set FROM DEAD COLD one last time for under
a minute, just to check that it’s working OK. Do NOT
give your set time to warm up!

Once you have confirmed that it has a solid, normal,
coherent picture, while it's still on, unplug it and
proceed to removing the board. When you get the board
back and plug it back in, the set will turn itself on
automatically, so be sure everything is back in place
before plugging the wall cord back into the 120v
outlet. This allows you to keep watch FROM THE BACK as
the set powers up again for the first time after the
board resolder repair.

With the unit unplugged, follow the power cord, from
the 120v outlet at the wall. It goes directly to that
board. Do NOT remove the slanted plastic back, up
above. Your optics could get permanently damaged.
Just the fiberboard plate, on the LOWER half of the
set, in the back.

Pull all the conn'rs off the board at all points before
removing the board, which comes off with just 1 screw
holding the entire metal frame to the rear wall of the
set. Do NOT disturb the wiring bundling. It will be
needed when you re-install the board, to make sure all
plugs go into their proper jacks. 2 sets of 4 prong
plugs are ID to each other and can't get mixed up as
long as you leave the factory bundling of the wiring
harnesses intact and undisturbed.

Leave the board on that frame, I will remove the small
screws all around it once it has arrived. Pull upward
on it and it will come off its slots for you. Use big
bubble wrap on it, in packing it. Don’t tape that
wrap, just leave it dangling, and PLEASE don’t use
styrofoam popcorn! It gets all over the place.
Crumpled up paper works just fine.

I charge $275 to resolder a board, you take care of the
shipping both ways. Send me a money order/cashier's
check for $275 made out to Robert Jones plus a fully
made out prepaid return shipping tag, made out to you
with all your preferences - insurance level, speediness
of the return freight, etc. - preselected. If you want
to use www.paypal.com, my account is
my regular email address below, and please send in $285
instead, to cover what they charge me to do so.
Prepare a prepaid return label and include it with the
board, for me to use when sending the board back to
you. Fedex leaves the box for me and there has never
been a problem – I live in a good neighborhood – so
avoid “signature required” if possible, if you want it
back the fastest way possible. How you send it IS 100%
your responsibility, however, in all cases, so make the
right choices for yourself.

Use UPS or Fedex ONLY, and if you use Fedex, feel free
to make it for "MORNING by 10:30am" delivery only, to
me. DON'T USE ECONOMY Fedex, they would make me wait
all day and I would never get it, as I work out of my
home but am usually not home in the afternoons, having
repair and calibration work and all. Wednesday
morning I am not at home after 10:15am, but other days
I am usually home all morning.

I try for 48 hour turnaround, but will only promise a 2
week's turnaround, as my schedule often has surprises
in it as the days progress. I usually get repaired
boards out in a couple of days, yesterday I was
actually able to do one same day as it arrived, I take
it down for shipping today…

Contact me directly for where to ship it, and I'll send you the address.

Dear Friend the best possible solution is to contact the Sony support team and tell them what your problem is, But consider this first, if you bought the unit on the last 11 months you could send it for Manufacturer's Warranty repair you only need the original sales receipt and contact the 1-800-345-7669, now make sure you keep a record of who you talk to and when you send the unit use a traceable method UPS or FedEx might be your best choice. Keep in mind that having it repaired somewhere else might be as much as half the price of the unit, and when you send back to the manufacturer you might even get a brand new Play Station 3, the only draw back about this procedure is that it will take as much as three months to get it back but you will save a lot of money.
Also check your sales receipt and see how long you have on the store return policy...long shot!!

I think it has to do with hooking up your unit via the usb cable to the computer. I got one from Radio Shack and it worked fine for a day, drove with it and shut it on and off a couple of times. Then I hooked it up to my emachine computer, and all I got was a white screen. Took it back got another one, drove with it, turned it on and off a couple of times, worked fine. Then I hooked it up to my computer, and again the same white screen until I reset it. I noticed all these posts are in the last few days, so I would say it is a bad batch of units. I purchased one for my wife 3 weeks ago and no such problem.
