There is a foam seal to fit between the glass and worktop and there should be some brackets that go underneath to hold it firm.
basically the glass does sit very close to the worktop.

My cook top is beeping nonstop ! i overboiled some whater and it fell on the cooktop. now it is beeping all the time ! what should i do?

You need to contact your dealer. Tell them to fix it or replace it. Boil over water should not affect an induction stove top.

Light stays on in De Dietrich oven DOD438 all the time. It is in the lower oven. Stays on whether door is open or closed. Oven is new since May 2007

I too have just had this problem. The door switch (top right corner) is broken and the oven thinks the door is always open. Chances are it won't heat up either.

We have had a gas hob installeed by an expert!! However it just sits in the hole cut in the worktop and wobbles and is therefore not level.. Should a support of rubber have supplied with the hob or is it...

i think it should have been sealed with silicone around what happens if something boiled over where does the water go ? get it sealed and thats stops the wobling as well

Element on cooktop will not switch off

Probably the contacts at the switch are welded together. I suggest removing the switch and if found to be so, separate and clean with a small bit of fine sandpaper.

suspect your contractor didn't allow for the tiled floor. the range legs are usually adjustable up and down. have you checked this?
