When using the ac on a hot summer day,or a mild spring day,the compressor runs all the time.If you set it to low,and turn the temp to cold or toward the warmer side, lets say cool, then the ac compressor runs also,it just cycles,on,and off.No matter what setting you are using on your ac control, the ac compressor stays on,using fuel.Get the most out of your ac,while it uses your fuel,to keep you comfortable. All vehicles have a MAX setting,or a recirculate setting.Always use this setting.I say, always use this setting, not only that, but use this setting.I stress this because you are pulling in air ,from the out side, that is warming the evaporator, and making the ac work harder to give you comfort. In the hot ,hot summer, the settings MAX,and recirculate, keep the air that is in the vehicle,in the vehicle. It recirculates the air, instead of bringing hot air inside the vehicle ,and bringing the temp,up,to a warmer temp.A lot of people don`t even know that this is on the control,or don`t know what it is for. Some times the recirculate button,or dial, will have a picture that looks like a C,but squared off at the corners. So folks, get more out of your vehicles cooling and heat system.Yes ,this will work on heat also, maybe not defrost, but on some cars,it will work.

Can I manually override a Honeywell 69-0940-2? I don't want to program it. Just want to turn the air on for a few hours to cool the house. Thanks

That thermostat cannot be overridden to remove the seven day schedule. If you select you desired mode (HEAT or COOL) using the SYSTEM button, then using the UP or DOWN arrows next to the screen to set your desired temperature, finally press the HOLD TEMP button to lock that setting in. It should stay there until you press hold temp again, make a temperature set point adjustment, or a loss of power. These thermostats are kinda complicated for the everyday user and were usually installed in commercial buildings where the end user's access was limited. Hope this helps. I also provided a link to the Honeywell Manual.

Can you advise me how to increase the temp in my hot tub? Jazzi SKT338H. It seems to be working properly but I don't have the manual anymore

Either turn heat control dial up, or there should be a 2-button, one UP & another DOWN. Push UP button.
If a single Heat button, the push the button once, it will start to blink, then push again - if temp goes up, you are going in the right direction to get to your desired temp. If going down, then stop & wait till blinking stops - then push the heat button again, it will blink again, press again and now it should go in opposite direction.

Balboa hot tub.. how to turn up the HEAT / TEMP , no owners manual, and does anyone know where I can get one?

You do not have a Balboa Hot Tub. That is the company that made the control panel for it. Id venture to guess it's either a Hawkeye, Barefoot or Master spa if it came with no owners manual. To turn up the heat simply press the Red "up" arrow on the digital control pad. Check out the link below. It's a quick reference guide to what I'm guessing is your top side control.

Is the sunvic sp2 a 2channel timer please

Yes. It appears the Sunvix SP2 is 2-channel timer.

Two-channel means CH central heat and WH water heater can be programmed separately, and each can have its own timing program.
pg 3

The timer offers pre-programmed options for both CH and WH, which can be used, or program your own schedule. chart pg 5 and steps pg 3

Limitations: both channels operate on same clock time, and dip switch setting. pg 6. So the WH cannot be programmed for 5-2 weekdays-weekends and CH programmed for 24 hour.
As a convenience for varied work schedules, Sometimes people use the 5-2 weekday-weekend option so 2 days of week can have different programming, and then fudge current day setting during the set-current-time step pg2 so the 'weekend days' are actually moved to wedsday-thursday instead of sat-sun.

Option: both CH and WH timer programs can be linked and follow same programming by using copy button. pg 5

Using advance button on either side of timer, pg 3-4, WH and CH timing schedules can be overridden temporarily until next set point is reached. Then regular programming automatically resumes.
If override or Advance button is pushed for either CH or WH, it reverses whatever programming is in effect. On becomes off, or off becomes on. However if CH thermostat is satisfied and room temperature has not fallen below thermostat set point, then override will not turn CH on, but override will turn CH off. Same for WH override: If cylinder thermostat is satisfied with internal water temperature, the water heater will not turn on and heat more water, but the override can turn water cylinder off.

Unit requires Cr2033 lithium button battery. Pg 6. Probably lasts 3-5 years. Programming is protected for 30 days from power outage.
If programming is lost, change battery, the reset timer and reprogram to restore functionality.

Hi. I am just wanting to control the heat the manual way. I had someone come in to service my furnace and they set it for the week. How do I cancel that, and just have it so I can turn it up when I want,...

From the Operating Manual: _______________Manual Operation for Non-Programmable Thermostats Press the SYSTEM button to select Heat or Cool and use the [Up] or [Down] buttons to adjust the temperature to your desired setting. After selecting your desired settings you can also press the SYSTEM button to select AUTO to allow the thermostat to automatically change between Heat and Cool. _______________________Manual Operation (Bypassing the Program) Programmable Thermostats Press the [Up] or [Down] buttons and adjust the temperature wherever you like. Then press HOLD. This will override the program. The HOLD feature bypasses the program and allows you to adjust the temperature manually, as needed. Whatever temperature you set in HOLD will be maintained 24 hours a day, until you manually change the temperature or press RUN to cancel HOLD and resume the programmed schedule. ____________________________________________________ *Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, despite the handle. Green light comes on then off 3 times.

I had this problem with mine. And it is caused because it is a safety shutdown-
The Safety shutdown may be broken into five distinct sections:
• Audio Power Supply and Audio Output Monitoring
• Main Run Power Supply Loss (PS LOSS)
• Rear Projection Instrument Safety (CRT Scan Loss protection)
• Startup Delay
• Power Supply Overvoltage

When taking measurement I used Pin2 of IP250, It is located in G-0 on the Voltage regulator board.

First off, check the main safety transistor, TP210 located at G-2 on the power supply/scan Bord. It will have 3 semi large heat sinks and the main tube power cables coming off of it.

The Emitter should always be 5Vs, The emitter is also the Furthers pin form the heat sink it is right by, So if looking at it face on to the flat side of the transistor the emitter is on the right.
The base when in:
normal high
protect low
off low

The collector goes to the power switch and should be
normal low
protect high

I pulled mine out to check to see if it was bad because it was reading odd like a shored EC, and it checked out fine. After re-soldering it back in, my set worked fine! Over my TV's life it seemed to have produced a weak point in its solder joint I guess. That in your case seems like it is about to go out for good.
I would say just re-solder that and you should be good to go!!

It this does not work for you let me know, I have much more information.
