Question about Samsung DLP HL-P5663W 56" TV
I'm not trying to convenience you about bad bulb in tv but asking couple of questions...
1- When did you replace lamp last time in this tv?
2- How old is this tv and did you replace lamp in last 2-3 years?
Just for information, lamp/ bulb in DLP tv has limited hours life span like 2500 hours etc and need to replace after that time, some times lamp got broken/ dead and does not turn On at all but weak lamp, that is near to die will cause such problem because lamp performance/ current consumption is being monitored by protection circuits in tv that activates to avoid any damage when lamp start consuming more current due to its weakness.
Hope these info will help, let me know above two info to diagnose problem in tv.
