Depending on which country you are in (the UK won't reset for a couple of weeks yet), your clock will automatically reset when it receives the adjusted time signal. If your clock is not receiving the signal, try moving it near a window and away from any electrical interference, or it is possible that your battery is getting low and has not got enough power to receive the signal.
If this is a mechanical clock, make sure the chime lever is set on. If quartz there is a reset button to forward the chime advance until it matches the hands.
my Taylor 5851-21 has Hour Min Then under thatt Timer/Reset abd Start/Stop. How do I set the time. I know how to work the timer and reset the timer, but I need to set the clock. But it does not have a clock button label as you describe above.
Check your owner's manual. Then try the other button? This is a new car, though. Try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 15-minutes to reset 'all'.

The problem is usually a weak battery. When cranking, it pulls down the system so much that the clock resets. Try puting the batt on a charger and start the bike to see if the clock resets with a steady feed of voltage.
press set button repeatedly -you get timezone mode and change your wished time zone and select your zone then press set button to normal mode and adjust the current time.

After changing the batteries on the outside unit, remove the batteries from the clock for a few minutes, then replace them. This will reset the clock to 'talk' to the transmitter.
