- Oh ok, thanks, but now my when the laptop is opened it tells me my file and directory are corrupted and damaged, and then it tells me a list of files which im told to check disk them as theyre corrupted, but i dont know how to. Recently the laptop is not turning on, the screen stays blank even when turned on. Also sometimes the laptop turns off on its own randomly or goes to another blue screen which tells me something about checking BIOS and then at the end it says beginning of memory dump, and then memory dump completed. Does this mean something is wrong with my memory? If so will this mean i will have to format my laptop? Because i really dont want to lose itunes, because ive deleted music from my documents, so i dont have most of my songs anymore.
This is going to be a loose connection somewhere inside the machine. I recently had a machine with the same problem in my shop. Every time it was picked up and tilted to the left it would go to blue screen, I had to completely disassemble the machine to find the problem. Turned out to be a media cable that had slid slightly out on one end. As for the check disc, a blue screen generally indicates an operating system error or interruption, this is what the machine recognizes it as and runs the check disc. It doesn't realize, that in your case, the operating system interruption is due to hardware instead of software, and we know this because it does it when moved. If it were software it would do it at any time.

- The media cable can be the cable for the hard drive, CD drive, headphones jack, or video in/out. It's not just limited to a media cable, it could be any loose connection. Any loose connection can short and cause the boerd to reboot or blue screen. You will need to check all connections, and look for ant type of corossion or damage to the board.
