On my officejet 5510, I decided that the printer was toast and decided to throw it out and buy a new one. After making that decision, I decided to pound on top of it it a few times. Guess what??? You guessed it.....it reset itself and started back working. That was about 6 weeks ago and I haven't had a problem since. I have since turned it off and on many times, and it works like a charm. GO FIGURE!! (I only recommend this to those who have given up and are planning to trash it anyway).

I has change the printer cartridge. After changing the printer cartridge above mentation comming. When I am making printer power on the (10.10.00 supply memory error) display. Please tell me how to solve this problem. Best regards,

This error comes due to carriage jam. Turn off the printer and unplug it from wall socket. Now, remove the cartridges and check for any dried up ink residue on cartridges on inside the carriage. Clean the cartridges contacts and carriage using a Q-tip dipped i alcohol. Let the carriage and cartridges dry before you plug in the printer.
Install the cartridges and check. If it still shows error then unplug the power cord coming to the printer without switching it off. Now, remove the rear door of the printer and check for any paper jams over there, remove if any. Wit for at least 15 seconds and plug in the power cord. Now check whether it is working.

I called HP and they told me that, when that message comes up, its usually a problem with the ink cartridge itself... mine was expired, so replacing it fixed the problem. The expiration date is on the front of the cartridge, so see if that helps
