try to install external video memory at leas 512 mb, and make sure that the vga driver of your motherboard is installed.

a processor (Intel / AMD) doesnt need any drivers...
maybe you are talking about the motherboard.

If its ur mbd, u need to install chipset/graphic/audio/lan drivers, after u install the operating system. For this u get a cd/dvd alongwith the mbd when u purchase it. If you dont have one, you can download these from the mbd manufacturer's website.

If you are installing Windows 7 or Linux, you probably wont require any mbd driver.

find a way to remove servicepack 3 then try again.
if it works then re-upgrade to sp3

Hey you download the latest soun driver from

After the download finish your just remove the old driver completely and restart your machine and then install thhat latest driver.
