Why the battery drains off to one point in hour in Nokia N70 with out any operation? The same battery retains full power more than 24 hours when removed from N70.

i think that your battery's lifetime is over. try with a new battery. but make sure to buy an original battery. don't buy cheap chinese battery.

Pc booting light blinking battery

As a rule this indicates a low battery or a failing battery. If you charge it and it drains quickly, it needs replacement. When getting a new battery (power cells), fully charge it overnight and use it until it drains completely. Once it is recharged for 24 hours, the batter will obtain a memory and last longer.

Cant get out of safe mode

On the scant information you provide, it is difficult to give much advice. I would suggest you remove the battery, unplug the external power and wait 24 hours -

Then, put in the battery, plug in the power and wait 24 hours. Give it a try.

Does yours have a restore feature on "D" drive?

It might be time to restore either via the built in feature or how ever you can restore it.

While in SAFE mode, save as much of your data as you can. Restore will wipe the drive, 99.9999% of the time.

Thanks for your interest in FixYa.com

I hope you get your laptop going again.

The blinking asterik means low battery. Could be that your replacement batteries aren't full power.

What is really sounds like is a static charge problem though. If you don't have anything stored in memory that you are worried about losing, try taking the batteries out for a full 24 hours. This will let the capacitor drain and performs a static discharge. After 24 hours put working batteries back in.
