Hi, My Syma S107 has been working absolutely terrificly until now, I am sorry to say that it had rather a nasty bang, and since then will not steer forward and backwards, also the rear rotor has come off. Are you able to suggest how to mend my helicopter. Thanks in anticipation, Harry

Syma S107 Heli quit in the middle of flight.

Most likely to be a faulty PCB circuit board.

We have all spares available on our website.

Kind regards, Julian.

My Syma S107 bottom rotors won't turn. What is the fix?

Probably just the cog on the motor not meshing with the main shaft gear.

Kind regards, Julian

The tail rotor on my Syma s107 metal series helicopter won't spin. the battery is fully charged. the top rotor still spins. i don't know what to do

It seems tail motor is not working.
S107 knows to come with faulty tail motor.

If you open pilot cabin, you should see blue and red (or green and red) wire. See if they are welded on the motherboard.
If they are, then tail rotor is not working properly.

My S107 worked fine the fist 5 minute flight. On my second attempt nothing would happen. The green light on the controller just blinks. Occasionally when I turn them both on the chopper just takes off...

Seems like your controller is not working. Try to change its batteries.
With new batteries try the following:
1. Turn the controller ON. Wait until green light stops blinking.
2. Turn the helicopter ON.
3. Give it throttle few times until it starts working.

Sometimes controller can still work even if has a blinking light. But these cases are very rare.

Hi, my syma s107 worked great for many flights, still has about 7 minute flight time but not getting any altitude.thinking motor wear? any suggestions.thanks

Very important with these motors and the batteries is a solid 5-10 minute rest after charging and after flying. Make sure the shaft is fully seated. Push it down firmly (but gently) both above and below bottom rotor.

Let me know if this doesn't help.

My s107 bottom blades wont rotate top ones fine

There are two versions of the Syma S107. The original and BEST version is the one that has the rectangle slot on the throttle, with a ball on the right joystick. The 'cheaply made for Christmas 2010' models have an inferior build quality. Most of them have wobble problems, mainly caused by an off-centre flybar.

If you have a transmitter with a ball on the left AND the right of the joystick bases, then you have a cheap and nasty model. Also, the cheap 'CMFC2010' model has a round charging socket instead of the correct Syma square. The plug on the cheap one is also a round coaxial plug/socket affair.

I have had (and returned) four of the later Christmas models now as they all had different faults. However, I exchanged one for a 'real McCoy original' Syma and after four charges, it took off on its own (no signal from transmitter as it wasn't on) and went berserk. Then it just lost all motor functions, like a drunk student.

It goes back to ModelZone tomorrow for a refund as I still have the S031. My next little heli will be a Blade MSR.
