Facebook, Yahoo, Google don't open in Chrome or Ie, only in Firefox.

You said that the sites u mentioned are working perfectly in safe mode r8?? It means that some program is there which is blocking access to these sites in normal mode.. Do the following
1. Disable all startup items and services in safe mode .
2. Restart ur pc and open it in normal mode.

Now check weather your chrome or IE8 browser can access to these sites.
THank you

I use goggle chrome, and it was opening some websites before now it has stopped and keeps getting error 105 but the websites are still there, what can i do to fix this? i tried deleting the cookies,...

Try flushing the DNS cache.

click start

Click on "Run"

In the window type CMD and enter

When DOS window opens from where the cursor is type this:

ipconfig/flushdns and enter.

It should confirm that it has flushed the DNS. Close the window and try your sites again.

This function is totally different than clearing cookies, etc.

Removed chrome then found links would not open up from windows office

Looks like you had set Google Chrome as the default browser in your PC. Now, since you have uninstalled it, there is no browser set as the default browser in your system. Therefore, you are unable to open the links from Windows Office.

To resolve this problem, set Internet Explorer as your default browser by using the following steps:

1) Open the Internet Explorer, then click on Tools and then select Internet Options.

2) Then click on Program tab in the Internet Options window and click on Make Default button, then click Apply and the close this window by clicking OK (See Attached Image)

Hope this solves your problem. For more help and clarifications, please reply to this post. Thanks

Chrome Error 105

Go into the Tools area, select Options, then in the Privacy section, turn off DNS pre-fetching. Worked well for me.
