Mine came off several times along with the plastic housing. I glued it back in place with 5 minute epoxy. Make sure the metal contacts engage properly and that your signal strength is at it's highest level before you apply the glue. Mines been going 3 years since glued

SOURCE: Lg vx8350 Using external antenna port.

The Wilson adapter damaged your internal antenna. I talked to Wilson today to get a part number to buy the adapter and the told me they did not recommend using it as it has damaged a number of phones. They also said that LG might have corrected the problem in the newest production models.

SOURCE: I have signal problems. I only get a signal in certain places.

Try removing the antenna and then bend the copper connector closer towards where the screw is.  This should make a big difference

You may have a radio-receiver built into your windshield screen along the top and this is blocking the unit from receiving satellite signals. Move to a side or back window and see if this solves the problem. Also, the new units with H in the description, ie Legend HCX, have stronger receivers and can receive signals inside houses and automobiles.

No, there are no external antennae available for the Legend.

Hello i have bought a hd2 t-mobile in USA. seller declared it works well. when arrived, i have changed WP7 with Android, but nothing more. Phone had a bad signal reception, near a HTC legend well...

There is a little white tab on the sidewall of the battery well - should be toward the top of the phone. If it's pink, it means there's damage to the inside and it won't be repaired by the manufacturer.

My Cell Phone have a very poor signal,

Make sure your phone has the latest update installed. Avoid your hand covering the bottom of the phone as the antenna is located at the bottom.

Garmin etrex legend and external antennas

Check the Garmin website for external antennaes. I have this problem too, and get around it by placing the unit on my dashboard under the windshield. Never had a problem getting a signal there.

Antenna broke and I replaced it

If your not sure what to do at this point you probably should stop right here, however if your bold enough to try this, remove the back cover, I believe there are 6 (six) screws in total, there is also a small metal contact that touches the main circuit board on the back side, that also connects to the antenna, most often a springy piece of gold plated metal attached to a solid threaded nut, where the antenna is attached that fits snugly into the back cover of the phone when the cover is installed the nut is secured and won't fall out. This contact could be on the nut or on the main board if you bent it out a bit to make better contact, you will most likely fix your phone. Cheers!
