BIOS access can be gained by hitting either a function key or the delete key. In the BIOS keys can have different purposes depending on the BIOS. For Toshiba PC, resetting the BIOS will need ypu to hit f2,F9 and F10.

Is in your motherboard manual. There's alway a Clear Bios jumper or dip switches on the mainboard you just need to put the jumper in for like 10 seconds with NO POWER on the computer and Put the jumper back to normal before starting up the computer again ... Be sure to read the procedure in your manual.

How do i reset the bios? I really appeciate Your help!. Adriano

To reset the BIOS back to the default settings and you cannot locate the reset jumper, just remove the BIOS battery for approx. 30 mins.
This will discharge the battery voltage in the BIOS, then insert the BIOS battery back and you can go into the BIOS configuration and set the Date and Time etc.

Cannot open bios set up forgot bios password

Reset the motherboard BIOS. To do this:
1. Open your computer casing where the motherboard lies in.
2. Look for the BIOS jumper settings. It should be near the battery.
3. And there reset the bios settings. (To do this, refer to your motherboard manual.)
4. Once already done. Close the casing and power up your computer.
See how it works.:-)
