If you have checked the plug going in the printer, then you have a power supply problem, my experience has shown that usually a handful of parts go and consideration should be given to the cost for parts labor. In my view this would not be a cost effective repair, cheaper to replace the printer.

NO POWER

Need to know how many times the led is blinking.

Re: tv kdl-55ex620 red light blink 8 times Do a Power Reset. 1. While the TV is off, unplug the power cord of the TV from the electrical outlet. 2. Let the TV remain without power for 60 seconds. 3. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. (If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.) 4. Turn on the TV. 5. When the TV powers on and a picture is displayed, reset the TV to factory default settings.
  • If the Reset message does not appear and the TV turns off and on, begin again from step 5.
  • If the standby light begins blinking eight times, return to step 1.
6. After the Reset message appears, allow the TV to reset. Do not press any buttons on the remote control or on the TV and do not make any other adjustments for 1 minute. 7. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. 8. Allow the TV to remain without power for 10 seconds. 9. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. 10. Turn on the TV.
  • The initial setup screen displays if the above procedures were performed correctly.
11. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial set up. 12. Perform a system software (firmware) update.

How can i get my sylvania netbook to work when i turn it on and it wont do anything all it does is stay at a black screen? Need help with my sylvania computer problems

When you plug in the power cord do you see any lights either on the power cord's adapter or on the computer that indicates that the power cord is plugged in? If not, your power cord might be bad. You might have been running off your battery for the last time you used it and since the power cord was bad it was not charging your battery so it eventually drained all battery power.

When you turn it on do you hear any fans running, any hard drive running, cd drive clicks once and you see the light on the cd drawer come on for a second or two, lights anywhere on the computer? If so these are signs that the computer is trying to boot. If not you might have a motherboard issue.

Static Charge Buildup can also cause the computer not to boot. Remove the power cord and battery from the laptop. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds then put the power cord back in (leave the battery out) and try to reboot. If it boots, you had a static charge buildup and can put the battery back in now.

Is the computer actually up and running but the screen is black? If so take a flashlight and shine it on the black screen. If you can bearly see the icons on the desktop that means your lcd inverter is bad and needs to be replaced.

If the computer is actually up and running but the screen is black, try hooking an external monitor to the laptop. You can use any type of monitor, even the big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vga cable to plug into the laptops vga port. You might have to press the FN (Function Key) and one of the F1 thru F12 function keys to get the image to display. Normally the correct F1 thru F12 key will have CRT/LCD written on it or it will have an icon of a display. Press and Hold the FN key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 Key to display the image on the external monitor. If it shows, that means your Video Card is ok.

If the computer is on and running but the screen is black, you don't see any icons on the desktop when you use a flashlight then your lcd screen will probably need to be replaced. It might be something as simple as the lCD Cable is loose or just needs reseated (pulled aloose then plugged back).

You'll have to take the screen apart to get to the lcd inverter and the lcd cables.

The tv came on then the screen went black but there was still sound for a sec. Now the green light keeps blinking and the tv won't turn

Unplug the tv for 5 minutes, then try this. Keep holding the VOL+ and CH- buttons down while you plug the tv cord back into the wall ac outlet till you get sound and picture for a second or two. You should be able to turn the tv on and off with the power button now. Next turn the power button off and unplug the tv for a few seconds and then plug it back in and turn the power button back on. Watch the screen and see if the sound and picture comes on, best to check in a dark room to see better, if sound stays on and picture comes on a few seconds and back off you have a bad CCFL backlight lamp in the LCD panel. This tv hads (10) CCFL lamps part # RLMPLA029WJN1 cost $15.93 at www.partstore.com or $19.49 at www.encompassparts.com in it and if one is burned out it will not let the tv picture be powered on till it is replaced. To check and replace the CCFL lamp you will have to unplug the ac cord from the tv back and remove 10 screws holding the back on. With back removed unplug the wire plug on the power button circuit at top left side of the black LCD screen trim, remove 4 screws holding the top of black trim, lay speakers off it, and release trim clips, (4) at top and (2) at bottom with a flat screw driver, and lower the trim to unclip the LED circuit board at bottom left side on the trim. With trim removed, at top of LCD panel remove the (2) PC ribbon wire clips with thumb nail by lifting up on it to release the flat PC ribbon wire. Lay the tv back on a soft pillow with screen up, and look on the LCD panel front for and remove the (10) silver screws 1/2" long with an arrow mark beside them. Do not remove any gold colored screws or any without marks. The LCD panel screen can now be lifted off, lift the backlight plastic thin sheeting and thick sheet off to see the CCFL lamps. Plug the ac cord back into the power supply inverter circuit board and plug the power button plug wire back in its circuit board on the LCD black trim panel, and power the tv on while looking at the CCFL lamps. If the lamp is dim or burned out, take the (2) white plastic covers off the ends of the lamps with a flat screw driver and unclip the lamp to replace it, Check the lamp socket part # QSOCFA003WJZZ by putting a good lamp in it and if it lights up the sockets are good and the bad lamp was the problem. If all the CCFL lamps do not light up, unclip the top lamps and move them to differant sockets to the center and the center lamps to the top, if the lamps do not light up, then it is a bad power supply inverter circuit board the ac cord plugs into, part # RUNTKA448WJQZ , cost about $160.00 for new one or less if you buy a used one on www.ebay.com , replace it and the tv should work ok then.

I have a gateway pc laptop that is 3 years old. It was working fine this morning. I had to manually power it down because my screen was frozen.(this happens from time to time) When I tried to power it...

Try removing battery and power cord let the laptop discharge. Plug the power cord in without battery after 1/2 hour. If it repeats the same thing plug a regular monitor into the vga output see if you get picture if so it maybe a lose connection to lcd screen or bad lcd screen.

L1932TQ LCD Monitor won't turn on.

I'm affraid you did about everything you can to find the issue. Trying to isolate the problem is the best way to come close to a solution eventually. But after all the tests you did, it seems that the monitor itself got a problem. I dont suggest you to try to fix it yourself, some electrical parts may need to be electrically discharged before being removed from the monitor. If your monitor is still in waranty, contact LG for support. Otherwise, you could bring it to a local tv/monitor store to see if they can repair it. LG support rep could also give you some advice, maybe they got a certified partner in your area that could take a look at it. P.S. If your computer is on windows XP it should shut down the usual way just by pressing the power button once. The shutdown will be the same as if you go Start->Shutdown->Shutdown the computer.

My pandigital photo frame is frozen on the sytem start screen

Mine does this when the power cord shorts itself out. For a whileI could fix it by simply untwisting the cord close to the plug, but eventually I had to cut and splice the cord to keep the lines separate (think a bunch of electrical tape. It works fine now that the cord isn't shorting out. Hope this helps!

Try unplugging the power cord to your computer tower, click the power button to drain the capacitors in the mother board then plug the power cord back in and try to boot up. Has helped me repair several similar black screen problems. Chuck Housecall101@aol.com

No power wont turn on

The Slight pop will be when the cors plug contacts the plug on the TV, and just a warning it is very dangerous to yourself and detrimental to any electrical appliance if you do this. when plugging in you should make sure everything is switched off before doing so and once all cords are connected you can then turn the power on. As to your problem I think you may have cooked your power supply inside your tv. You may need to have a technician look at it and diagnose for you. Hope this Helps.
