Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH22 / DMC-FS33 Digital Camera

1 Answer

I have a video image I am trying to review and when I scroll to it, I get an error message that reads, "This motion image cannot be played". When I try to delete it, I get an error message that says, "This picture cannot be deleted". What is going on? There are two of these; how do I get rid of them?

I think the easiest thing to do is to put the memory card into a card reader on your computer, copy everything off of it that you want to keep (excluding the problem files) and then try to delete the problem files using your computer. If this does not work, I would reformat the memory card, as these file seem to be corrupted. I would also suggest getting a new memory card, because they do go bad, and could corrupt pictures and videos that are important to you.

My fuji fine pix s9600 drianes the life out of the battery with in minits is there a fix

This is from the What Digital Camera review (quoted for the purpose of review only)

'When it comes to playback things are a little less satisfactory, with a noticeable delay scrolling between images and the battery life using regular AA cells is disappointing - a set of copper-top Duracells expired at around the 200 frame mark, which may be OK for a day's shoot, but NiMH rechargeables or Energiser Lithium cells are preferable.

So, looks as if you need high power batteries, or else re-chargeable cells. Normal cheapo-cheapo ones will drain rapidly.

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down image devices you could see a yellow question mark?
right click to reinstall drivers or update driver xp

click start right click on computer select properties device manager scroll to image devices expand right click to update driver in W7

software if you dont have the driver you will need to download one here are a few you could try although i could not find one for windows 7

Some webcams and programs require additional software, although that should be installed with the webcam if things are right.

But is does not harm to check if your Java, Flash and Quicktime software are installed and up to date.
But certainly check your DirectX software, since all video applications, including webcams, use DirectX for video processing.

Try downloading the latest DirectX version and install it (Windows XP: DirectX 9.0c - Windows Vista: DirectX 10).

Can't find pictures in internal memory

If you can connect the camera to your PC via a cable, normally USB, to browse the contents of the camera's internal memory then try simply to do a search on the camera's 'drive' for .png, .jpeg or .jpg, .bmp or any other filetype that your camera would use.
Your PC should be able to find any files using those file types and display them. From there you can copy or cut and paste them to a location on your PC's hard drive.
You may have to make sure that your computer has Show Hidden Files and Folders turned on under Folder Options.
Normally, a camera saves all videos and pictures in a folder called DCIM, even on internal storage.

No matter what kind of file I trial to upload, AVI or WMV I always get a message that says "upload failed to an unknown error."

It is a well known YouTube bug. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the link called "Basic Uploader" (see image below). By doing it through this link you won't get an error.6_20_2011_8_07_29_pm.jpg

Sony DSC-P32 Memory Stick Error, "C:13:01"? When I went to review pics on memory card, camera would not scroll through and it would immediately shut off. Assuming it was the batteries, I...

Hi,

The C:13:01 error code is the self diagnosis display of the camera to identify the cause of the issue with the Camera. This error code indicates the issue with the medium used in the Camera. You can try few steps to check if the issue can be resolved.
Try using different Memory Stick in the Camera.
Make sure that the Memory Stick used is compatible with the Camera. (The maximum capacity that can be used in the Camera is of 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo.)
Format the Memory Stick in the Camera and check if it works. (Formatting the Memory Stick will delete all the files saved in it).
This may happen if the files in the Memory Stick is damaged or corrupted.
Try turning the camera power off and on.
Remove and re-insert the Memory Stick several times.
Insert another Memory Stick in the Camera to check if the issue is with the particular Memory Stick.
Try resetting the Camera and check if it helps. To reset the Camera, press the RESET button located inside the jack cover using a sharp pointed object.

If the issue happens with different Memory Sticks after performing all the steps, service may be required.

Thanks for using FixYa.

If you've really been seeing the image before taking the shot, then there was something seriously wrong with your camera which now appears to have fixed itself. The D3000 doesn't have the LiveView feature. The screen is for the menu and reviewing images you've already taken.
