Possibly, different warranty's cover different things. I would recommend contacting your console manufacturer. unless this is an in store warranty then you'd want to dial the number on your warranty card
360 800 4MY XBOX PS3 800 345 SONY WII 800 255 3700
good luck!

360 elite "open tray"

It is one of the many microsoft errors that they supposedly try to fix with a couple billion dollars. I have had this happen about 3 times. The first time was when i figured out how to fix it. The 2nd and 3rd were temporary.(Just needed to be turned off for a moment) You need to shut the console off for atleast 15 minutes 10 at the lowest with everthing unplugged. I mean the hard drive, memory unit, and all cables, and adapters. Then after 10-15 minutes plug everything in and DON'T PRESS the BUTTONS ON THE XBOX OR THE CONTROLLERS. Press the button to open the tray and take out the game or dvd and put in a different one. If this doesn't work do it all over again and then put in a different game or dvd not the previous ones and turn on the console the same but then a soon as you get the disc in and closed in shut it off then open the tray and wait till you are at the main menu go into any program so you can't see it is reading and close the tray. If that doesn't work contact the xbox support line. Really hope this works for you.

HAWX open tray

If it says "reading" you just have to wait. H.A.W.X. is a big game.
If it says "open tray" you have to close the tray :)

Unless, Check the CD for scratches and marks, or else try the CD on another Xbox 360 console.

I put in the game and it just says open tray

you need to unplug ever cable you have and every accessory you have. Unplug adapters memory units hd inter coolers every thing. let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Plug everything back in then press the button to open the tray to turn it on then put in a different game keep it open . Then when the menu comes go into a program so you can't see play game or close tray. Then when you are in the right place close the tray.
