SOURCE: Overfilling fault

I believe the washer has had a flood type situation.there is normally a flood switch in the very bottom of the dishwasher right at the very floor,if water get into the bottom tray it floats a piece polystyrene foam wich triggers a little micro switch wich will run the pump continually & show Overfilling fault at the same time..The water in the tray needs to be mopped out with a rag or spunge so that the styrene foam can drop back down. The blockage you had may have caused this flood situation some how.The overfill fault was probably due to the washer not pumping out,So that may be ok now that you have cleared the blockage.hope this helped.

How do I change the light bulb in the ASKO D3531 dishwasher?

Puzzled over this for a bit and finally pulled the dishwasher out from the cabinet. It's easy to replace the bulb from the outside. Socket is part of the wire guide which pops out with a screwdriver (see photo).
I can see threads on the inside dome but for the life of me I still can't get the dome to turn. Perhaps a special tool fitting the nubs would give one some leverage.
I replaced the 12v 5W halogen with a 12v 2.9W led assembly that has the same G4 base. Works well and should last longer than I will.

Water outlet fault. The door wouldn't open, so I drained the unit and then the door opened. I cleaned some coins out of filter and tried again. Same fault, water outlet fault.

Hello and welcome to Fixya. With the Asko washer it is possible to have some coins and debris up in the hose which goes from the tub to the pump as well as downstream of the pump in the drain hose, it is a pretty small diameter and quarters, nickles, dimes and pennies can block it up entirely. It will require a very thorough check. You may in fact have a damaged pump as well. If you watch the pump impeller it should spin freely, if it just sits there with the impeller moving slightly back and forth it is faulty. In any event you'll need to either phone in a pro or remove the pump and hoses ( which are held by one-time clamps ) which will require installing new hose clamps and removing the lower service/access panel. Depending on the actual model of Asko washer you have the process of doing this will vary. Let me know how you make out or if you require further assistance. Thanks for visitng fixya, please rate this info accordingly or please let me know how I can help additionally. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

What can I check on or do when getting a water

check the filter basket that catches waste from the washup. Also follow the outlet hose ( usually winds through cupboards to the sink outlet. ) and see there are no kinks in it from articles being pushed against it.
If these are OK it may be that ther outet valve is jammed and this will require a tech, as the whole casing will need removing

Our Asko D3250 dishwasher is brand new, and it fills up and drains and fills again and then the water inlet fault flashes. It doesn't go past this point.

this sounds like a improper install ! ck to see if the drain hose outlet is lower than bottm of tank. it should drain to the disposal . and have a drain loop under sink .. the dw prosser is sensing that the drain is longer in time so it flasher inlet fault . . elevate the drain and try again ..if it drains to a lower use a stand pipe or a siphon brake . in the install .. mm

Asko W640 water outlet fault

If you get the water fault after checking the lower drain, you may need to remove the drain hose in the back. Usually there is a dime in the hose or the hard part right before the hose.
