Power button stuck down on my sony cyber shot dsc s600

Possible that this is a mechanical failure and the switch is broken or out of place. Remove the battery and check the charge, if this seems fine then replace and tap the camera upside to see if the buttons resets.
If not the camera must be taken out, try to open ONLY if you have the correct tools and do not try to open otherwise to damage the unit.
Best option is to take an opinion from Sony for estimation.

Camera won't turn on

this is happening when the batteries are not well charged or if they are normal batteries they are not powerfull enough to open it ..so ..you will need wither a new battery that holds the power well ..or if uses like I said normal batteries..buy a few good alkaline ones and try to power it ...cause those cameras are sensitive when it gets to power and amperage ..so it need real good batteries..not cheap ones cause those will not power it ..but just came up says battery low ..and shut down ..Ive been there with a simple Lumix(panasonic) and had the same problem ...since I use only duracell it work s..

The most likely problem is the batteries. You don't mention which ones you have - if they're rechargeable, charge for 10 - 15 hours even if the charger indicates a full charge. If those rechargeables are a couple of years old - replace them. If using non-rechargeable, be sure they're NOT "heavy duty" or "super heavy duty" - those are useless, for toys. Get fresh alkaline batteries.

Sony dsc-s600 lens stuck out and no power.power button seems to be too low.

Its not a problem. Just replace the drained out batteries with the fully charged batteries and press the power button once again. The camera would shut itself down.

1= Use rechargeable battery cells and must be fully charged.
2= Check battery terminals in camera battery compartment. Must be cleaned and shiny.
3= Sony camera DCS-S600 won't charge batteries through USB cable plugged in PC. You need external battery charger to charge battery cells.

Camera won't stay turned on

It sounds like weak batteries in both cases. The zoom motor takes more power than displaying pics. DON'T USE "HEAVY DUTY" batteries - they're for kids toys. Use alkaline or rechargeable, and charge the batteries for AT LEAST 15 hours, even if your charger indicates they're fully charged after 1 hour. Please leave feedback if this helps.

Still it sounds like weak batteries. Be sure to use either rechargeable batteries ( charge for a minimum of 14 hours ) or alkaline. DO NOT USE "heavy duty" carbon-zinc cells - they're only good for low power equipment.
