If it is working fine this would probably work, my only warning is that be careful of where you put the glue or how much you use because the Kinect motor that tips the camera up and down could burn out. If it can not adjust properly and then you will not be able to adjust the angle of the camera, forcing you to play in the same position every time.

Xbox kinnect keeps shuting down, less than 5 minutes into loading and/or playing the game.

  • Make sure your kinect is correctly plugged in to your Xbox
  • Make sure your Xbox power cord is plugged in
If problems continue it is because there is a problem with the kinect sensor. Having the kinect automatically turn off has become a common problem for many users. Try returning your sensor to the place of purchase and get a new one. Seeing as it is a known problem the store will likely understand and give you a full refund.

My kinect sensor keeps saying its not level, i have it on a small table.

Aim a flashlight at the kinect sensor. I had the same thing happen to me a few times, all of a sudden. Even though it would be working earlier that day, it started saying not level. I think the sensor starts looking all around the room, and aiming a light at it forces it to become center aware again. Idk, but I used the flashlight app on my iPhone, if that helps.

I have got the xbox kinect an it is saying that the senser is not leavel

Error: The Kinect Sensor is not level (C0051209)
Place the sensor on a level surface and try again. Here's what to do to fix this problem:
- Turn off your Xbox 360 console. - Make sure the Kinect sensor is positioned on a flat, level surface. - Turn your console on to see if the problem still occurs.
This error can also occur if your sensor is very hot or cold. In this case, wait for the sensor to reach room temperature (approximately 70 °F or 21 °C), and then try using the sensor again.
If these steps do not solve the problem, the sensor will need to be repaired. To start the online repair process, go to myservice.xbox.com.

Will Kinect work with existing games?

This is another area that has sparked a lot of confusion, mostly due to the fact that a Kinect Burnout Paradise video has been released, and so people began assuming that since Burnout Paradise was a previously released game, that other previously released games will be available for Kinect use. That is not the case, as Kudo Tsunoda, the Creative Director for Kinect has said, that existing games require a large rewrite of their code, which will not make it practical for them to release update packs to work with Kinect. But, definitely expect some sequels to games, as well as annual sports games to come out utilizing Kinect controls.

Will it work if you're sitting down?

Unfortunately, Kinect's ability to recognize seated players has been a bit unclear. Most of the games shown at E3 required that users be standing, prompting many to report that the technology had inherent trouble detecting seated players. The good news? According to Microsoft, that's simply not the case."Kinect can be used while sitting when an experience is developed with sitting in mind," the company told Y! Games. "Navigating the dashboard and enjoying controller free entertainment features like ESPN, Zune, and Video Kinect are experiences where we expect people to be sitting. With full body motion control, it is natural for Kinect games to be designed to get you off the couch: dancing, running, dodging, bending and kicking. What we demonstrated at E3 was only the tip of the iceberg of a whole new era of controller free games and experiences brought to life by Kinect."
