Hello There Jwillie,

I believe you are inserting the disks upside down. Also make sure your Wii console is in the upright position.

SOURCE: wii console is making loud

The DVD drives on all Wii consoles are beginning to wear out. They used a very cheap plastic spindle bearing that has worn and allows the drive to sound like it's grinding up.

SOURCE: noisy wii console

Hi Sky606, have you tried cleaning the game disk? Have you tried using other game disks in the wii to make sure it's not just one disk that is causing the problem. Do you have a Nintendo Wii CD / DVD Discs and Lens Auto Cleaning System ? If you don't you might want to purchase one and see if that helps, because your wii lens might need cleaning ! If all of that fails, your wii may need repairs, the lens that reads the CD/DVD could need adjustment or replacement ! One other small note,I always have a small external fan blowing on my wii when in use so that the wii wont over heat. Heat kills electronics ! I Hope this advice helps.

SOURCE: wii makes loud noise

You CAN fix the problem yourself with some patience and special screw driver called a tri-wing.

There are a ton of tutorials and youtube videos to help with the process. Should take you about a solid hour from start to finish.

OR you can probably find someone who fixes Wii's on Criagslist to fix it for 20. That's what I'd charge ;)

Maybe the disc reader in the Wii is having problems, this could be natural for the Wii, but if it isn't reading the disc, then try talking to the nintendo company and ask them that there is a loud noise in the Wii when its reading discs, they should know what to do. My Wii does that sometimes, especially Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but it still works though. hope that helps.

My wii takes dicks but makes a noise when spins

There is always a sound like ''a disk is turning'' and there is always a ''beep'' when a disk is turned in, does there come light on the side? If, do the following things: if not, contact Nintendo always.

I recommended buying a lens cleaner, or contact Nintendo.

Loaded game = loud buzzing

After removing the casing, all that need to be done was loosen (yes, loosen) a screw on the inner frame about a quarter turn. This allowed a little movement to the frame and stopped the buzzing.

Wii Disk Drive

Doe the wii work?  I know that mine did this but i changed the position of the wii because the DVD was spinning unbalanced.
Try putting it on its side, or moving it.
