Contact your service provider they can walk you through it on your online account or otherwise manually enter the data you need to block or restrict calls from - typically there's a fee for this service.
Best regards

What belt fits the hoover preferred?

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.

In order to know the right belts to use for your Hoover cleaner, you would need to get either the model number of your unit or the part number of the belt. Hoover upright model number can be found either at the back or at the bottom of the unit while the part number can be found in the manual that came with your vacuum or you can do a quick search online. You may also contact Hoover (800) 944-9200 for further assistance.

You can purchase a wide variety of high quality Hoover replacement parts for your Hoover vacuum direct from Think Crucial with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

I hope this was helpful.

I could not find a manual for that model number. Here is the number for contacting Shark: 800-798-7398 with the hours of Mon.-Sat., 7 a.m.-11 p.m. ET
They should be able to send you the manual via email in PDF format.

Hi, I've used this ge 29016s caller id box for 9 years, it was a great help to me, but it was not working correctly lately. I was trying to buy one on line, please let me know where can I buy one on...

Be sure to check to make sure the batteries in the unit are either new or fully charged.

Also check the battery terminals inside the unit for any signs of rust or corrosion deposits which might interfere with the flow of electricity from the batteries. Scrape the metal clean with a flat tip screwdriver until they are shiny again if necessary.

If you really need to order another one of those units, then check out the following link to an item available on EBay for about $11:

http://cgi.ebay.com/GE-2-9016-Caller-ID-Display-/370506885843?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5643ee6ad3

?
Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information and items at the website indicated.

Good luck.

I have dropped my phone;I can hear anyone I call but they cannot hear me.I probably need a new phone. How can I contact anyone in Virgin via a landline(01481724000) to arrange this? There are no Virgin...

This is because the fall of the phone has damaged the MICROPHONE of the phone. So what you are talking is not processed and send on to the caller.
The fall could have dismantled the mic connection or shifted the mic.If so remove phone and reset, check for cracks , if visible correct and solder.

Every time I get a text message it alerts me by saying "Message from _____" and then the name of the person. I want to silent this feature but I cannot find the feature to do that.

What kind of vacuum is this anyway???

I will try to help you with your problem even though you have not identified your make and model phone and you are in the wrong category. I will try to help you by telling you what I would do with my phone to change this setting. The procedure for changing your phone is probably different ... but perhaps you will get some insight from my remarks.

This is for calls and messages - My phone is a **** style LG. On the left side there are two buttons. I press the bottom one to get a menu list. Next I press the Right Soft Key called 'settings'. Next I select item number 6 called "call alert" I press OK. My three options are ( ) ring only or ( ) Caller ID and Ring ( ) Name Repeat.

I use (>) caller ID + ring and I hear the number or the name of the caller if in my phone book then the ring I have selected for that caller or texter.

Specific for messages ... I select Settings & Tools then I select Sound Settings then I select Alert Sounds then I select Test Messages and then I make my setting.

I hope this assists you with your settings even though I feel you probably dont have the same phone as I.

Thanks for your interest in FixYa.com

Hight adjustor does not work...

I think we got this figured out . . . . the height adjustment doesn't work when the vacuum is UPRIGHT, but when you disengage and lower the handle the plastic that is blocking the wheels from receding will rotate and then it can receive the plastic on the "top" of the wheel assembly. Try it and I think you will find that it works. I thought it was the wheels that were keeping the vacuum from working well, but that's not the case. Still don't know why it's gone to heck in 9 months.
