Tried going in to the registry found the right subkey, but the fix instructed that i find the upperfilters, and the lowerfilter. but they are not visible. what else can i do?

Dvd was not read and write from last 6months by my pc aspire 5515


To resolve this problem, remove the affected filter drivers. To do this, follow these steps:

My computer will not read a cd or a dvd. It say "No disc in F:drive


1.delete the upper and lower filter from registery

Lenovo cannot detect DVD ROM, Error code 19 reported. Related to drvier. Tried to update driver but found out driver that is already installed is the latest. Did not find any driver in Lenovo's web....

if after deleting the upper/lower filter it still doesnt work try to download the driver for the device and install it.
