Question about Televison & Video
I would suspect the power supply is faulty:
I would try to look on the power supply first for popped capacitors that supply the 24v rail for the backlight inverter.
If you repair the 24v line on the power supply and check the 5v feed also going to the BN_on (on) the backlight inverter and you still have no picture...you will also need a new inverter.
