JBL on rour stop working one hour later every time
Hi, I got my on tour a couple of months ago and it worked fine. But just recently it starts stopping emitting any sound one hour or so after I start it. No sound at all, and the light goes off too. If I press one of the buttons, the light will glim just once. So I'm wondering what's wrong with it. HELP pls!

I have a similar problem. You need to open your subwoofer and check if the subwoofers cone cloth is torn. If it's torn you can recone the subwoofer and it will work fine. There are solutions online to fix the cloth using regular synthetic mix cloth but i don't know if it works. Try removing the cloth to see if it sounds better.
I had the same issue. I tried opening the dock and could not find anything wrong. It seems the charger was delivering sufficient voltage. So I disconnected power to the charger and reconnected couple of times and it started working again. My charger has a LED light and based on the brightness of the light you can findout if the output voltage is close to 20 volts.
Its pretty late for your post....but today i repaired my jbl on tour...
there are 7 screws to be removed. 2 on thre front upper side, remove the battery cover an you find the first two. then remove the jbl sign, theres another under it. its very hard to remove, i had to destroy my jbl sign. now you have to clip out the cover when you have slided it back, under the back side who was covered, are the last 4 screws. now the nasty part is coming: you cant open it, cause its glued all around. put at first a knife into the slot betwen the upper cover & the under cover, move it around the jbl on tour, but watch out that you damage no electronic parts, or cut off the battery cabel (as i did ;) ) and now you can open the device. my jbl looks really bad after, but it works fine (had issues with the current cable)
There is 3 or 4 options for the on Tour speakers but not the model on your posting, I give you the link to the user manuals so you can compare them and get the appropriate I hope it helps.
