Question about HP PSC 1210 All-In-One InkJet Printer
While it never hurts to update to the newest driver. If you did your same install, with the same software, and only have a
problem now...I would definently look at system performance before blaming the driver or printer software.
The lower end HP/Compaq computers tend to come with a lot of software pre-loaded on them and are often memory (Ram) deficient. Personally I believe this is a marketing tactic to increase the performance discrepancy between their lower end and higher end machines on the floor. But regardless, no matter how fast your processor is you won't run very fast with 256-512 MB Ram or a lot of bloat-ware.
It's worth noting that if your OS changed, Win2K to XP, XP to Vista. YOu system requirements also jumped substancially.
